Hmmm. So now Prime's a truck cab that actually looks like a toy. Should make life easier for Hasbro, or at least for kids that wind up with toys of him.
As for the cars... the corvette implies Tracks, and the green is probably what Corvette insisted on. Could be anyone, but Tracks is a flashy asshole and that seems right up Bay's street (no offence, but that does sum up the personalities of 75% of MB movie characters). The Bugatti Veyron... it's fast, it's techie... Wheeljack? They didn't use his name in Dark of the Moon after all.
Or they'll both be entirely new characters or random name re-uses. Maybe the Bugatti is Hot Shot and the Corvette is Side Burn.

Dont mind the new Prime but it's really what the do with the robot mode that matters. If they haven't moved away from the movie look Prime will just look the same again.

Trying to keep from being more mindless bay-hating but.... honestly, I hate it. While I disliked the robot mode designs (Too skeletal, and an odd combination of toocomplex and not complex enough. Optimus shouldn't look like he's an eva unit), I never really had any problems with Optimus's vehicle mode. I always thought the flames were a bit silly until TFP showed us how boring and bland it could have possibly looked without them. I also thought the "No one drives cab over trucks, what kind of disguise would that be?" excuse when you go with a custom scratch built truck that doesn't exist in the real world with bright flames. Kinda screams BS. Also, Cabover trucks aren't as common as they used to be, but they're still everywhere, and I see them every day I go out onto the road. But, I degress. I had problems with their reasoning as to why they went with a longnose truck, but I had no problem with his truck mode itself. One of the few things I kinda enjoyed. And for his robot design... while being movie style, it was interesting to look at. Too big, but still interesting. And doubly so after TFP reimagined it a bit more boring (Though I prefer TFP's face over Bay's)
This "redesign" though... is just rediculous. If it were anything other than Bay, I'd swear up and down it had to be a prank. But this design screams Bay, unfortunately. It's just over the top rediculous... it's like an explosion in truck form. It looks like every time he'll transform there will be explosions behind him, Power Rangers style. But what really kills it for me are those godaweful smokestacks.
As for the rest... don't put any faith into production names. He calls things lots of different things. And usually doesn't even have a name at all until Hasbro gives them one. I think the worst examples were in DotM. Of course, I don't really want to think of that hidious einstein bot as Wheeljack anyway, and since it doesn't exist in toy form, I can pretend Wheeljack doesn't exist at all. I don't even know what he called them, or even who the red one was supossed to be. But anyway, so they call them Slingshot and Samurai-bot? I believe it. Probably Slingshot's name will change two or three times before it gets to movie, and Samurai-Bot *is* the production name, and will probably not get called anything at all on screen (Remember Demolishor, that big ugly thing from the start of RotF? It was called "Wheel-bot.") Bay doesn't care about names, or accuracy, or anything of the like. Hasbro had to fight to make sure Optimus was actually recognizable as optimus in the first movie.
As for Slingshot/Tracks- Don't forget. There's already an established Stingray in two of the three movies. Sideswipe. Will probably be him.
Samurai-bot- Glad to see a such an awesome car. Kinda find myself hoping it's Cybertron Crosswise.
Then I remember what the other three movies were line, and I stop caring what it'll look like or be named.
Truck/"Dinobot"- no opinions yet.
Bumblebee- More of the same.
I wish Del Toro or Peter Jackson had gotten the franchise, and rebooted it.

I think someone has 'confirmed' it's Hound. Regardless, I have no interest in this series anymore, and will not be paying money to see this.
The phrase 'Nothing ever changes but the shoes,' has never been more apt.

Hound. Bulkhead. They'll decide once the live-action filming starts, maybe.

Pretty much in all likelihood.
At this stage I am coming to conclude that the name of any individual robot from the Live Action Movies is somewhat academic. The chances of them actually being named on screen is likely not that high. The likelihood of them being actual characters is of similar magnitude.
At this stage I am tending to conclude that names for Movie Transformers mostly exist to give Hasbro something to put on the packaginhg because "Megatron" takes up less space than "Leader Evil Robot"
