I never owned G1 hound. There was a car boot sale where there was a boxed one but it was priced out of my pocket money league.

I missed out on Pink Rod so will have a look at minicon*. Think I'll get Hardcore Hound. Great mould and my book reissue is long gone.

Bit too rich for my blood. Will wait for a sale. Small budget for the minicon due to hotel costs as the local rail network is so unreliable!

Get 2 of the inevitable 86 style g1 reissue, some white GW/Vallejo paint and a wee brush, sort the headcrest out - job done! You also want to get a third and take a dremel to it for Dark Awakening Optimus. |

Those missiles on hound look suspiciously short. Is the launcher needed (edit: I meant neutered, thanks Phil!) in some way?

It's tempting, isn't it. G1 toys in cartoon colours. So what do we have so far? Hot Rod, Starscream, Thundercracker and Hound? (with Perceptor & an Insecticon, Shrapnel was it? on the cards?)

Certainly those as those are the moulds that always get run out when G1 figures get reissued.
Not sure I'm in 100% on this line, but a set of anime colours original Insecticons would be very nice. Jut as an alternative look to the chrome on the proper ones.

Seems like I missed the boat with Starscream, but I already have the cool 2003 Japanese Encore repaint. The only thing different with this earlier toy is the unpainted face/optics. Missed out on Hot Rod too.
Hopefully, if its meant to be I can get the Thundercracker and Hound.
