It was down before for June release then moved back to end august. But are there 2 books? does seem confusing with one being stated first that it was a recap booked like the Legend book [or has that been cancelled & merged into this?] then the Comic collection book.

It's an odd collection. One issue of various multi-part stories and some strange choices too: the Dreamwave preview issue, an Armada Mini-Comic, an issue of All Hail Megatron. The extra bits and bobs look interesting but I can't see me bothering with this.

An easy pass for me. There are only so many times I can buy Marvel US #1!

That sounds really pointless. What's in it?

So, from the sound of it a collection of somewhat random stuff from all across various incarnations of Transformers Comics, at a somewhat expensive price point. Um, yes. I shall pass.

This popped up this week in FPE, just in time for the, ah, 29th anniversary. Quick flick revealed the usual mixed bag of repro quality we've come to expect from IDW. Didn't take too close a look (never like to thumb through big expensive books too much in case I damage them as a pet hate is seeing HC's ruined in comic shops within days if release). -Ralph

Had a flick through a copy, most of the strips don't look very good at the blown up size, but the Marvel UK ones look much better at their proper size.
Interested in reading the interviews, but don't want all the material reprinted in there, so not worth the money to me for about 10 pages of interview.

The interviews looked like tiny puff pieces based on my (admittedly quick) browse.
