Dark Minds. He made me read it. Even the lettering was offensively bad. The only good thing that came from it was that it was purchased for charity.
Who knew a more terrible comic than Youngblood V X-Force or Dawn of the Dread Force existed!

In one foul swoop Phil has 1/3 of the Micronauts run. And three spares which he know what to do with.

Read the 'What If?' issues I picked up from Oxfam. As is usual a mixed bag for that title (which is half the fun). The 'What If...Iron Man was a Traitor?' special was really good!

First set of Micronauts back issues have arrived and they're some of the most beautiful comics I've seen in a long while.

Michael Golden issues? They did look amazing.
Captain Britain (1985) #4 arrived today so the full run now set aside for reading soon.

Michael Golden, good artist.
I've been looking through my haul from the Oxfam shop on Friday - couple of US format Judge Dredd reprint series "The Early Cases" and "The Judge Child Quest", the complete Squadron Supreme mini-series, ish 379 and 380 of Marvel Superheroes (I think I am in danger of starting out on a quest to track down more of these reprints), and the obligatory "it isn't really that good but I love it anyway" Suicide Squad ish2.

Will check.... Pat Broderick did some I think. Guice did the X-Men & Micronauts Limited series and that looks superb.

There was a literally a bucket of Alpha Flight at Oxfam Morningside Edinburger today. I grabbed the first two annuals. I may return for some Furman issues on Saturday (did not bring enough cash and brain partly work-fried).
Did pick up the Mephisto Vs Etc 4-issue mini, Batman: Dark Detective mini, Spider-Man and Daredevil Special Edition (nice quality reprint of the two-part Mantlo/Miller Peter Parker issues). Then, a mighty polybagged two-pack: OBNOXIO THE CLOWN VS THE X-MEN and THE UNCANNY X-MEN AT THE STATE FAIR OF TEXAS. Yes.
So Andu would not hate me he now has one of the dozen copies of SPAWN/BATMAN. I suspect strongly he may have owned this before.

Your Mantlo AF run isn't complete. You need mid 50s - 67
Furman's run is #110-112,114-130

I snagged Alpha Flight 4 -10, 38, 43 and Annual 1
A copy of the "Days of futures Past" collected edition (in fairly poor state, but it was 99p)
X-Men/Micronauts 1 -4
Nightcrawler 1 -4
I would have bought more of the Alpha Flight issues myself but I need beer and food money for AA and I was approaching the limits of my bags remaining lift capacity anyway.

I have now assembled the pile of Alpha Flight.
I have #3, #7-52 and Annuals #1 and #2. The trade* has #1-8 so sorted there.
I may have another root in the Oxfams to see if more Mantlotainment can be found before the big read begins.
