We all know that TMUK trips have a habit of going Tango Ultra on the travels front.
How's everyoner getting there?

Got a van booked for Thursday. So far the only trouble has been setting off late every single year.

Due to the early start on Thursday from the Burger I am heading through and crashing at Ralph's tomorrow night. There will be Smurfs 2. Then we meet up at early o'clock with Karl and Nick to begin the robot train journey down.

Then there is my insane travelling schedule.
I went for the cheap option for the bus, which is just under 1/3 of the price of the robot train. I leave My house just after 9pm Thursday night, get a bus from Glasgow to Birmingham at 2245 and arrive 0400. This is not going to be a fun journey.

I'll send you a text when we're up and about on Friday morning, Colin. We can show you to the convention hotel and stop you wandering in front of a bus/into one of the 4000 strip clubs in a sleep-deprived haze.

As I'm not selling this year, it's a leisurely midday train on Friday, arriving at Birmingham International just before 3pm, just right for checking in to the hotel. Then maybe attempt to sneak past Andy to say hello to all you Toy-Fu chaps before the convention actually opens.

I'll be travelling up late Friday morning once I've dropped my daughters around to their Nans - hope to be there early afternoon.

Maybe travelling with Nick would be the safest place, would it not? His travel shenanigans seem to effect others more than himself.
Providing that New Street station is open at 4am, I plan to hang about safely in there until the first train to NEC at 5:30. I hope I can then find a nice bench lake side and sit/nap there until people wake up. I do fear that it shall be raining, thus my plans shall be thwarted.

No. Nick travelling is frequently worse for Nick than any of us.
See..... well just about the entire board really

Well, Andy has covered most of my travel plans - with the exception that it will be an even earlier doors for me as I must catch a Robot Train across the Space Bridge from Falkirk to Edinburgh tomorrow morning. Rise and straight out the door and grab the traditional breakfast at Edinburgh I think...

Same here. 6a.m. start here in Glasgow, 7.00 or 7.15 train to Edinburgh then 8.32 to Brum with the crew.
EDIT: Theoretically.

And the robot train successfully departs for planet Cyberton.
But what perils await our four brave warriors from the sky on their journey?

Ralph's hotel has an interesting neighbour.
I'm sure he'll be along forthwith to tell us about it.
He's been in the lift (see trip to Brum passim)

I left Edinburgh earlier this week to avoid Doom from Burns travelling. Currently in Oxford for the night and making the short hop to Birmingham tomorrow afternoon.
