So, I ended up picking up the new Generations Bumblebee and Orion Pax. Partly because I didn't find anything better (Trailbreaker), and partly because I found them on sale (And would rather get them for $12 each than $16 each)
Bumblebee's an... okay... toy. He's got serious flaws, and the biggest being he's not bumblebee. I have a brilliant classics 'bee that's a way better toy, and actually looks like Bumblebee.
Meanwhile, this one looks nothing like him, while having an undeniable 'bee head. Which, unlike the NYCC taxicab Prime Bee, makes him really hard to accept as anyone else.
Not to say the new 'bee is a bad design, it just sucks at being 'bee.
Then it struck me... I could stick him with my RiD guys, and make him the RiD universe version of Bumblebee. "Reenforcements from Cybertron" or something like that.
So, I decided to make an RiD display with a lot of repurposes and "fan" additions, much like I did for my G2 Classics. (As such, adding HftD Hubcap as Volt, Cyb Downshift as "G2" Wheeljack, SG Soundwave as "G2" Soundave, and the like).
And I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of things to add to a simular RiD display?
Considering getting the Fox Kids BW redecos as additional predacons for Skybyte. As well as throwing in the walmart Dinobots.
Even considering putting Slipstream in with them, as she definately doesn't fit with Animated like it'd hoped she might, and I'm not happy with her on my Classics shelf.
