Has anything been decided on ScotCon yet? Andy T was telling me at AA that it would likely be Glasgow, but that the weekend hadn't been finalised at that time. I'm still hoping to make it over, so just wondering if anything has been decided yet as I'll need to look in to booking a flight soon.

I'm informed it will be some time in the new year, i.e. ScotCon 2013 will be ScotCon 2014. Kind of like the opposite of those old TF annuals that had next year's date on them but were released this year.

I believe the plan is currently to have it in spring, partly to avoid the Christmas shopping hordes and also because we'll have more than 8 hours of daylight if we want do do any outdoor activities.

Pleased to hear it will be in Glasgow. Fingers crossed the Girls and I can offer some floor space to weary travellers by then. 2015 needs to be on the Edinburger tram!

Ali was asking me what was going on with the Scotcon plans just last night (a work colleague is off to Edinburgh this week). I'd really like to make it again, would be my first trip to Glasgow, so will be keeping an eye on this thread.  |
