Also by mentioning to people that you can use Shattered Glass Galvatron to accompany Cyclonus and Scourge instead of the terrible Henkei/Universe Galvatron I have persuaded Burns and Dave Wallace to get them.

I decided to do the same thing too, not sure what I planned to do with it before that.
Though I also did some parts swapping with the original Evac version to loose some of the off putting black pieces. I'm thinking about spray painting the propeller blades bright orange just to finish the look.

Andy This is true. I did not give a toss about it until this fact was presented to me. When he is freed from his plastic bag he will destroy Henkei Galvatron and take his place beside Botcon Scourge* and Universe Cyclonus. In other news, if Uncle Phil does not resolve to get a Botcon AM Thundercracker, I will spam him with 'BAGPUSS IS ALIVE!' messages across multiple media platforms from now until the end of time. -Ralph *I owned a United Scourge for around 5 minutes and hated it, quickly ejecting it from my abode. |

If it wasn't for the fact that I can't afford a Botcon Galvatron you would have persuaded me as well. I did not want to keep the Classic Galvatron because he angered me, but somehow it doesn't feel right with only two of the terrible trio.
Ah well, they shall just have to fall back in time in fine Marvel UK tradition and come under the command of WFC Megatron instead.

The original is far superior as it embeaced its colour with pride. Botcon amtc seemed desperate to be toned down with those purple wings, which arent to bad, but I forgot just how messed up the jet mode is because of them. First thing I did to my main thundercracker was give it my customs set of wings and put the spare, slightly too light pair on to the custom. Secondly I didnt transform it for a couple of years till the mess was forgotten. Probably would just be easier to put the spare nose cone piece on it.

CW Leader will have to wait till I can afford to buy TC and with the stream of good stuff this year, that might be a problem. Or I'll impulse buy one at AA. But my running order will be G1 - I really want to see the colours on the original mould, also not a huge amount of moving parts to deal with. Pretender - Mostly for the black, green and purple shell. Basically I'll be working my way up to the masterpiece version. |
