They don't seem as reliable as they used to be, but they're still okay and I've never had problems with them responding to my emails to customer services. I am still awaiting the package which supposedly contains the AMW releases 4 through 9 though, so we shall see.
One thing that does annoy me a little bit is that they are typically much later putting up pre-orders than the other import sites, meaning that it's sometimes wise to order elsewhere if there's something you really want (where are the Beast Saga pre-orders?!?).

Well, my Blackarachnia has been despatched from HLJ, so at some point in the not-too-distant future we'll have answers concerning her stomach. And whether the boobs hanging from her face actually look that bad in hand... Which payment method do you use for that? I've just set up the paypal payment authority stuff rather than one off payments and been through the whole process of buying a Blackarachnia, including going through paypal checkout, at which point HLJ's site logged me out and now when I go to my account it doesn't list the order and paypal doesn't show the transaction. Whu? did I just order a figure or not? I've no way of knowing. |

Okay... tried again. Got right the way through to the order complete screen, and yet again nothing shows in my account. So I either now have two Blackarachnias on the way, or none. Who knows?!
Not inspiring me to use HLJ again.

Huh. I dunno, I pre-ordered, then got a charge notification, and paid it. Can't remember if I used PayPal now or not. I had no problems, though, whatever the case.  |

This odd. I already had an account, created over eight years ago. No idea what I bought from them. Would probably have been an early MP.

Yeah, someone's got to be getting all the luck.
HLJ news update: payment for Blackarachnia now taken. Weird ordering system but I think I've got my head round it now. It's just not automatic. Needs someone their end to push all the buttons, so it takes a working day for orders to appear in your account and then they take the payment when they ship - even if it's an instock item you're buying. At least that seems to be what I've just experienced!

www.hlj.com has a really good sale right now. MP Roadrage for $36 MP-10 for $130 (or so) Adventure Quillfire and Megatronus for $11. Plus a lot more! Really tempted by the mp10.
