First issue was delivered this morning.
As delightful as the first mini and the final page of the issue is absolutely splendid - couldn't stop grinning.

Yup. Gettin' the band back together.
Rather a high nipple count for reading on the bus, but maturely handled and only incidental to yet another fun installment of undead-related insanity.

I could find no copies in stores. Sigh. Will probably order on-line post=Chrimbo.

Read it today. Hmmm. Well made but does rather confirm my previous opinion the whole idea was best suited to be left as it was.

You can't say you didn't enjoy that last splash page.

To be honest, I'd lost interest before then. Zombies v Robots was a great 2-issue slice of fun but it's a one-shot type gag, really.

Don't say these things Ralph. I have a nasty feeling I will be disappointed by ZvRvA.
I'll wait for the trade as I still 'blow my load' every time I read the first one. It is just such an exceptional TPB, such high production standards and a mindblowing and quirky story.
My best purchase of 2007.

Don't say these things Ralph. I have a nasty feeling I will be disappointed by ZvRvA. It is in no way rubbish. I just think the joke is done. I had this feeling with the original, which was utterly fantastic but I did think it was best being done just once. Anything else would be a disappointment. I'm in two minds as to whether to continue with ZvRvA as it's not bad when taken on it's own merits. A bit like Beneath the Planet of the Apes compared to Planet of the Apes. Anyone know how many issues it is meant to run for? -Ralph

Yikers. The 2nd TPB is on back order at Amazon already. Released and soldout there I guess.

I wouldn't worry about it. IDW do a lot of their business through bookstores so I imagine a 2nd printing won't be long in coming if it has sold out.

Yikers. The 2nd TPB is on back order at Amazon already. Released and soldout there I guess. Nope, Amazon is terrible for comic book release dates [probably because they stick to the original release date given, but the comic books never do...] The 3rd issue of the series isn't even out yet so the collection won't be for a while yet. I'll check at work for a release date if I remember, if one exists.

www.worldwarrobot.com/Do a search for 'World War Robot'. I might have missed a whole other TPB involving the robots from the ZvR-verse. There are figures coming too.

If there's demand for it, then why not? "Why not" in this case being "probably because only 15 people on Earth will want this thing enough to pay the going rate for it".

ZvRvA is very very good.
TPB looks and feels as good as ZvR. The story art and script are top notch.
