Chrome problems

Google Chrome isn't working on my laptop: I get a Unable to access the network Error code: ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED message when I try to get a webpage up.

I've reinstalled, no joy. I've checked the firewall and it thinks Chrome has access to the internet

Internet access for other browsers is OK off the machine

Ideas?

Win 7, Zone Alarm free, AVG free before anyone asks

Do you have any Chrome Extensions installed?

Turned out to be a firewall issue cured by a complete reset.
