The idea for this thread came from a discussion Phil and I had. It was in refference to the Black Adder quote I'm currently using as my sig, not anything else. According to the BA script book, my sig, featuring a quote from series four of BA, is incorrect, as the verbalisation that acompanies the pelvic thrust in the scene quoted is an 'Oi', where as in my sig I've put 'Uh!'.
Where as I submit to the fact that the writers' have the final say regarding their script, I still feel that 'Uh' is the best verbalisation to accompany a pelvic thrust. I would welcome comment and opinion in this matter.
I considered making this a poll, however I wasn't confident in my own ability to think up all the possible verbalisations that may accompany the before mentioned pelvic thrust.
I trust all my fellow Hubbers will treat this with the seriousness it deserves. Thank you.

There is no other pelvic thrust sound than 'UH'.

If you're talking about the Blackadder the Whole Damn Dynasty book then I wouldn't take that as the official version of the scripts. That book was a comic relief book that didn't print the actual scripts but rather transcripts (the script as written down by someone watching the show). On this basis 'Uh' might actually be the word that Ben Elton and Richard Curtis written down as opposed to the one in the book.

Hmm, interesting. We need to know what book Phil refferenced. I feel that the noise the two actors make in the episode is more 'Uh' than 'Oi'.

I thought a pelvic thrust, accompanied by a sound effect, should be "WUF!" Especially in Blackadder.

I'm sure it's more of a 'UH!' sound on Black Adder. 'WUF!' is a good choice though, to accompany a pelvic thrust. But I'll sticking with my 'UH!' for day to day thrusting.

From memory, Flasheart uses "Wuff" in a more generic sense, not necessarily accompanied by a pelvic thrust. What I have in mind specifically is the scene in Black Adder Goes Forth, where Melchett and Lt.George are singing "Row row row your boat, gently down the stream. Belts off, trousers down, isn't life a scream- UH!". When making such an deliberate, even animated, sexually motivated pelvic thrust action, 'Uh' is really the only vocalisation I would ever entertain. 'Wuff', as in 'Woof Woof' I would use more in general conversation, perhaps to offer opinion on the attractiveness of a young Lady, or to comment on the raucousness of a colleague's behavior.
