So I have a wide interest in music that reaches from classical to gabba and back. At the moment, I'm very much into D'n'B - I find it excellent workout music. I have been into it for a long time but longed for the older, rawer sound of the late nineties before it became pop. I found Calyx & Teebee made a very good remix of a tune I picked up so I went looking for more of their stuff. On Amazon, on one of their albums, a comment was posted: "Love this. Where can I find more of a the same?" Several responses were posted but one mentioned an artist I vaguely recollected: Dieselboy. I ended up buying a Dieselboy album I liked the sound of, called 'The Dungeonmasters Guide', which harked back to my tabletop RPG days. From America, the CD arrives. I save it for a long journey and throw it into the player in my car. Who introduces the Cd with a couple of minutes of monologue? Peter F-ing Cullen. That's who. At this point we have an 80's icon reading the hand book from a 80's/90's RPG epic on a 00's D'n'B CD... Depending on where you live, you could possible have felt the shockwave of awesomeness as it rippled outwards from my car. I had to stop and take stock of the situation... How, in all the f**ks in the world, did this come to pass? Here's a link if you fancy it...

If it was up to me though hardcore / dnb would have stopped evolving back in 94. #amens
Oh Gabba... you are possibly the most fun to DJ of all music styles, in part due to the speed and due to how crazy the ravers are.
