We saw these a while ago and my tat sensors have been on alert for UK sightings!

I hope they don't come to the UK. Being that they're blind-packed, I'd have to eat a lot of Kinder Eggs in order to find Optimus Prime (which is who I'd be after). And that would be TERRIBLE.*

I genuinely thought this might be about small-k kinder Transformers, the Beachcombers of the mythos...
It's an appealing idea in theory, in the way I always found Kinder Eggs appealing in theory, but these look rubbish in the way that Kinder toys always did to me. I always got more play out of the yellow shells.

Random memory- anyone remember the Kinder American Football helmets? Ohhhhhh about 25 years ago- ish? I liked those. Collected them, even.

I don't remember the football helmets. I may have missed on those, and I've been collecting Kinder stuff for years.
Oh, and the yellow shells (latter baby blue for years) were a hoot
Kinder is doing a Marvel Superheroes/Disney Princess promotion at the moment with pink/blue shades on the foil to tell between.
The Transformers promotion is likely a German exclusive as others have been before.

These have now made it to the UK. Asda has triple packs on offer at two packs (ie six eggs) for £2.50, or something like £1.80 for one pack. It appears that they might be packed at a rate of one Transformer and two other toys per pack, though I've only opened one pack fully so far.

Spotted only in some Morrisons and Sainsburys up in Glasgow thus far. I was mocked by Andu and Burns for imagining things. Techno-ly they were wrong.

Mentioned it in the tat thread didn't realise we had a offical thread for them. I have a very chubby Megatron waving his teeny fist in anger.
Kinder 3 packs are always (unless an error occurs) 1x special 2x normal toys.
£2.50 for 2x3 packs is excellent price for Kinder Eggs.

Damn. Didn't realise that Asda had an offer on. I picked up three at a local newsagent's last night on a slightly-wine-induced-whim for a price not as good at that. No idea yet whether they actually contain Transformers, though. That shall be rectified this evening.

They're... Not great little toys. Not really. Although I'm still tempted to continue my hunt for Optimus Prime, even if it means eating my own body weight in Kinder chocolate. That's a risk I'd be willing to take!

I now have 7/8 Kinder Transformers! I'm only missing Bumblebee.
They are all absolute bobbins!
There's something great about having chocolate, a toy *and* a surprise all in one however!

I have Arcee and Ratchet.
They are bobbins, but I agree. Kinder Eggs and licensed toys are an alluring combination.

Yep. Complete and utter bobbins. Yet strangely addictive. Must be something in the chocolate...
...like, the chocolate.

DISASTER. Sainbury's have had 3-packs for £1.50 since late last week. They only had Barbie packs left.
The situation has now become worse... The shelf has been restocked with a case containing no Transformers no Barbie. Am I destined to never complete my set?
