But I think the US are going to get series 2 before we get ep14 - that's how it normaly works for us in the UK. But we did get the last Animated before the US. But since then the US got the end before we did.

I can't get over the horrible animation style. Is this genuinely a thing designed for human eyes to watch?
When will people stop trying to use CGI to make cheap cartoon-like animation?

There's an interesting match between us and America with these if there isn't an episode on next weekend here. America have diligently shown an episode a week since they started, which means they'll reach episode 26 on the weekend of September 12th if they keep to that format. If eps 7/8 are on here this weekend and there's a break next weekend, we here could have two episodes a week and continue on to ep 26, which would also see the series finish here on the weekend of Sept 12th. Wonder if that's the intention.
Possibly not given we started so long before them, but if it is we'd get eps 13/14 on the first weekend in August. Think 14 is our first new one isn't it? the one which actually features Prime?

Yes, still waiting for 14 to be shown. I they show it before the US get it. But it seems we are not going to get any new ones before sept15.

Oh wow, so the series hasn't even finished in the US but all the eps have been available in English for ages? What's all that about? The finale is horrible by the way  Megatronus. Someone has been drinking the anti-freeze again... |

I can't find a TV listings site that has Cartoon Network on it as far ahead as Sept 12th, but tomorrow it'll come inside the seven day window, so we might find out then. It finishes airing in the US next Saturday, so there's a vague logic in the UK kicking in with the second half then.
Depends what you mean by available Blueshift. All of season one was on iTunes in some territories back in May, so they've been around since then. Also of course they've been uplinked worldwide for TV stations to broadcast, so as soon as that happens any TV show becomes 'available' these days.

Oh yes, that was weird, but it's also indicative of the way the toys also seem to appear first in different parts of the world these days. When it comes to the RiD cartoon I think the US was one of the last places to begin showing it properly. We were up to about episode 8 before the US was past the pilot, but we were behind the Far East and Australia. But then when the US started they stayed consistent at an episode a week, whereas here we had two a week but stopped at 13. So we're due season one part two, which looks like it might kick in next weekend. It seems with this show that Hasbro released the episodes and let each territory deal with the show how they wanted.

The US got the last cartoon in the series for the following - G1, BW, BM, Prime, RID2, Rescuebots
We in the UK got the last of these first.
RID, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Animated
Not sure about Go-bots (2002)

I'm going to do it eventually. I was going to move on to a straight run of the Unicron trilogy once I'd finished the Takara trilogy, but the forum rewatch of the original series took its place. I can't remember how far I got into Energon originally but it can only be about half way. I do remember getting all excited about that Scorponok episode that wasn't shown? 33 was it? and then wondering what all the fuss was about.

I remember that the first handful of episodes were actually really good, or at least showed a lot of promise, and then the show just nosedived off a cliff in terms of quality, animation, characterisation, plot and downright laziness. I hate calling professionals lazy from the comfort of my own home, but they spelled EPISODE TITLES wrong, for heavens sake! |

Wasn't it one that processed the back story of Scorp. Then we start the next ep ref back to the fight. But they didn't bother to translate it ?

You're right, we're off again with RiD over here. Ep13 - Out of Focus next Saturday, then oddly Ep15 - Even Robots Have Nightmares on Sunday. Was Ep14 - Sideways shown here at the end of the last batch? I had this odd feeling there was something funny about the last episode broadcast.

I wouldn't go that far. She's a perfectly middle of the road writer though, never been wowed by anything she's done. There's been worse but there's been better. Pretty much the epitome of Prime to a tee. |

I'm viewing all her work with totally forgetting how she decided to get people talking about windblade series has this puts a negative view on her totally & to give her some benefits of the doubt - but everything still turns up bad.
Also just miss out the point that Primus sent Windblade to Earth which is Unicron to stop an evil & totally miss Unicron.
