What's the big deal with Megatron: Origins? I haven't read it...surely it can't be that bad.

It's more "Origin of the Decepticon's" than "Origin of Megatron". The script isin't all that bad, but it's not great either. Alex Milne's artwork is the real drawback as it's really difficult to actually make out what's going on most of the time. In fairness though, the colouring of the whole series is also very dark and that didn't help his cause.

It has some decent ideas and a reasonable script. Unfortunately, it is marred by, in my opinion, by some less than clear sequential art. I've flicked through the trade, where the colouring is noticeably clearer, which helps a bit.
