Which games have you played where they have glitches?
Just been playing Halo CE AE hardest setting Maw engine room [number ports from left bottom/top - right 1-4]
So done ports 1,3 & going back for ports 4,2. head up from the right & on 2nd level over run by flood - throw some grenades over towards port 4 then hear that all engines ports have been done? How - I didn't stop to see how I got up to level 3 then exit.
Also same area on old release I have got here with no flood at all.

Final Fantasy 8 PC had a glitch where half way through a cut scene wouldn't trigger. It was thankfully patched later, but it killed my momentum in the game and 14 years later still haven't finished it. Baldur's Gate 2, Aeris has an infinite loop dialog glitch. Fortunately this was patched too. Recently in Dark Souls 2, there's a tunnel with a tough enemy in a hole at the end of it. You can kill the enemy, but I don't think you're meant to be able to jump through the hole as there are two other routes to get through later in the game when you're meant to be stronger. If you jump just right you can make it through, grab the good items and get out. OK, so you can't use the items as this early you don't meet the requirements, but y'know. Going back to my fighting game past - lots of glitches/engine exploits that become part of the norm as people discover them. Could be something like Tekken 4 Jin's Just-Frame Laser Scraper whereby the move follows a series of unescapable hits on block and then should you hold the attack button for x-seconds the last hit becomes unblockable, but that time should be enough to retaliate. However, if you do it just right it becomes unblockable a lot sooner so all you can do is perfectly time a sidestep left. It also launches the opponent into the air so you can get lots of damage. The Wave Dash is more of an engine exploit - certain characters do a little forwards ducking dash which can turn into various moves with f,d,df (or 623/dragon punch for Streetfighter notation). This can be cancelled by pressing another direction. Thus you can cancel the ducking dash and then do another one... f,d,df,f~f,d,df,f~f,d,df. Whilst you're doing this you move quickly towards the screen and have the opportunity to mix up so many strong moves that come out of f,d,df. youtu.be/LePBqr7h9mg?t=3m11sSimilarly in Tekken you can backdash, as all characters do a little jump back with b~b, that can be cancelled into another little jump back. Not glitches, but hey! Fell outside of the Rancor level in Star Wars Jedi Academy(May have been JK2?).

Jet Set Willy's attic bug - made you die as you entered other rooms - and banyan tree bug - one block was made of the wrong material!

Now I'm looking at Wikipedia I'm reminded that Brian Bloodaxe does odd things when you complete stages

Pretty sure that is Jedi Academy. Don't recall a Rancor in Jedi Outcast.
On of my favourite glitches is more of an unfortunate interaction between sub-systems. Deus Ex:Human Revolution's ragdoll code can cause odd interactions sometimes when it leads to stunned folk impacting on furniture, the end result is that the unconcious bloke being displaced properly onto the floor but continuing to bounce slightly as the object and the ragdoll subsystem argue about where it should be. It looks like they are twitching slightly in their unconciousness. Amusing if they've been tazered, but downright creepy when they've been punched into unconciousness.
Mass Effect 3 has a hilarious glitch in the Grissom Academy mission which sometimes causes your squadmates to freeze in there "neutral" position. They still move about and fight, but all the time they are standing stock-still with their weapons pointing at nothing in particular. End result, squadmates seeming to zip about like manequins on hover skates conjuring bullets into existence with their minds.
Karl.

Also same area on old release I have got here with no flood at all. But that's a good thing, the Flood are scary I know its good - I just wish I knew how it happened - only happen about twice. I think it is something about how long you get to the area or how long you stay in the ammo store - or if you get in that back area in ammo store where the flood come from. [you can if you get in before the door shuts.]

What's that you say? You say you want to talk about ragdoll glitches? Okay, let's talk about SKATE 3! -Nick

I exploited many of the glitches in Pokemon Red. I ended up with a lvl 130 nidorhino, and a kangaskhan that could fly.
Something I thought that was *extremely* clever was in X-Men on sega genesis. You got to a certain boss, and the game would "glitch out" and freeze. You couldn't do anything, forcing the player to hit the reset button on the consol. However, instead of restarting like normal, it started "rebooting" like a computer, and it gave a message that you purged the virus, or something along those lines. While not a glitch in the intended way of this thread, it was AWESOME.

I don't think I got that far - liked X-men 2 more because the first one wasnt using the Mega drives power. [it was just a port like the wolverine game]
One thing on Halo I can blast the guns into the wall & the gun spins round - even a shotgun into a glass wall.

Getting the glitches in Batman Arkham origin now
Beat up everyone then should press Y to get reveal but no Y icon. Also landed on the bridge & couldn't fight anyone - all buttons didn't work.
