My brother is mad into this DC series, and I started reading it last night. It suffers badly from you-need-ALL-the-tie-in-issues-too factor, but it's enjoyable enough.
Anyone else following it?

Nah, I picked up some issues in the shop and it was just bollocks. I couldn't be arsed - besides the mindwipe/rape/limb removal fest that is the DC universe is a big turn off for me at the moment.

Yup. The only DC things I pick up are All Star Superman and The Spirit (trades though) and reprints of their older material.

I was given a free tryout issue by the nice folks at my local comic shop. I've read it twice now and still haven't the foggiest idea about what's going on or who most of the cast are. On the other hand, I did pick up the first two issues of Countdown Arena for the three-way Batman fight and quite enjoyed it.
