Stickers on Transformers... what're your thoughts?
I have a few Transformers, acquired in the last few months or so, such as Trypticon and a Spinroad/Darkjet two-pack, that I have yet to put the stickers on. However, I am reticent in doing so as I am frankly rubbish at putting stickers on and scared I ruin them.
What does everyone else do with their stickers? Do you prefer stickers with Transformers, or do you prefer extra paint and/or screen printed details?

No thank you. My hands have passed the stage where I can sticker OK. Painted deco is great these days.

I must admit I don't tend to apply stickers to anything these days - whether it be Transformers, Zoids or anything else. My hand-eye coordination is a bit ropey at the best of times (always has been as long as I can remember, so not a new thing) which makes applying them a bit of a trial. I tend to prefer tampo-printed markings where possible. Stickers tend to remain firmly on the sheet.

I got the re-issue of G1 Hotrod a few years ago, put the very few stickers on him in robot mode and then transformed him. As soon as I did so the sticker on his right thigh virtually ripped itself off leaving only a white square where the sticker used to be.

Putting stickers on is mucho pain in the meal-balls. Much preffer the printed/painted of modern TFs.

Ive still put them on on odd occasions. Never really put them on regularly even as a kid, hence a stack of sheets I had to spend a while identifying. Still I do like to add them sometimes. Reissue Grapple looked so plain I had to apply about half the stickers.
Hot Rod I left plain, I think.

The printed details of modern Transformers look better (look at Landmine or Scorponok for good examples) and obviously last longer, but I miss the smell of the old sticker sheets. (In fact, today's Transformers don't have the New Transformer smell that they used to. Boxed Japanese releases sometimes do.)
There is a certain enjoyment to be had from applying stickers, it's a reminder of childhood.

I always loved putting stickers on the toys, still do. A pair of tweezers are essential though.

Tweezers and a cotton bud to flatten them down with! That way no oils from fingers can rub the ink off the uncoated stickers on the likes of the Powermasters and Triggerbots/cons.

I love putting stickers on. I do leave some off if I don't like the look of them. For example my Razorclaw doesn't have the gold trim on his mane as I think he looks much better without it.

I apply stickers only if the figure looks totally naked without them (like with G1 Sky Lynx)

I love applying stickers though have to use tools. Always apply G1 stickers and on the KOs I have i've ordered Reprolabels as they better quality.
If anything Reprolabels are the reason that stickers are so prolific in my collection. I don't like tatty stickers if I can avoid it so they are good for replacements and I buy all their upgrade stickers especially for classics. All that is required is not to chuck them all unprotected in a box when they are not on display to keep the stickers in good condition.

I hated them as a kid, I hate them today. Vile things, impossible to place properly, they can slip and stick on the wrong bit, or fall off and become tatty. Argh.

I used to love doing the stickers, but disliked when they would peel off.
I prefer decals like faction symbols to already be on the figure though.

Stickers fill me with utter rage. Yet I bought some Reprolabels to try to get over this terrible afflication. I lost them, then found them again. Yet I still cannot bring myself to sticker RTS Jazz, for just thinking about it gets me angry. I may have to get someone to do it for me.

Wish I had clued in on the tweezers method earlier. Beneficial for the smallest of stickers.

Oh dear. I hope she doesn't use your razor for her legs as well!
As for tweezers I have a pair of angled ones I got at a craft shop which is ideal for putting the stickers on, especially in tricky to reach places.

Stickers... I have an equivocal relationship with stickers. On the one hand I think they are great things. I'd much rather have stickers than decals, simply because the process of water-softening decals and then applying them with a pair of tweezers and hoping that I get them into the right place with my one shot before they permanently adhere is an exercise in frustration. Stickers are much easier to get into place.
In the other hand I find myself not actually enjoying the process of stickering things. Hence my Reprolabels Jazz stickers remain unaffixed at the moment, likewise my Mindset has yet to receive his proper G2 Decepticon logos.

Stickers as a kid I used to love, but my G1 reissues remain stickerless.
The only one that really needs them seems to be Nucleon Quest Prime (black PM-Prime repaint). Looks very bland without.
