Just watched War Dawn again yesterday &

Why is it that the Aerielbots do not transform when they are in the past? One big plot point is "they are some new robots who can fly" Orionpax.
So why didn't Slingshot go "If you want to see flying let me show you flying" - but it would have been better for Skydive or Airraid to fly because they didn't look like bricks.

ALso why does Soundwave keep transforming into tape deck mode when the Decepticons fly off at the end when Starscream is too far away for him to jump inside. We just see a tape deck fly off into the sky - he should stay in robot mode [he does this a few times during the cartoon series 2]
