4's download is missing or corrupted. There's a shame, have to postpone the privilege for another time

The curse of Guido continues. An artist forever doomed to do material not worthy of his talents.

Didn't think it was his best work either!

To be honest, based on the synopses on the Wiki I can't really fault him if it isn't. It hasn't really sounded like much to get an artist inspired.

I will publically admit to buying #2-4 (#1 was free). Had to show support for JP Bove and Baskerville. Damn them.

I bought #1 but no further. Read the plots on TFwiki. Deary me. In fact I think I left my #1 at Turnbull's as a surprise gift!

You did.
I thought it was Burns he declined it.
I did buy the issues on comiXology as I wanted to support Guido and JP. They need more work, McCarthy doesn't.

Could you not have simply taken it home and put it into the recycling? It could then have been turned into something more useful to the larger world...

Just read #2,3. One thing not pointed out in the story is Hellbat having face plate & then Grit headbutts him & next time we see him he doesn't have faceplate. So guess it must have been damaged but nothing in the story to state that. You'd expect a passing line. Just need to get #1,4 be good if I get them for 50p each too
also you could make a Hellbat toys from TFP Soundwave (with Laserbeak) or Starscream

I bought #2-4 while heehawed. Never read them properly other than a quick skim so I could just focus on the pretty art an colours.

I was going to read this for reasons of Hellbat. But then I remembered they gave Hellbat a mouth. So I thought "No."

thats was in #2? I know its ones of the issues i've got. Nothing to explain where he got his mouth from when he was going round with a faceplate. But thats writers issues not art wise.

I've read the wiki summaries, so my experience of its literary merits has been bereft of the art... I suspect that the art does a great deal to help it...because I was not enamoured of the plotting...

Shane McCarthy has one Transformers plot, and he uses it over and over. Drift loses all the character he gained over in MTMTE, Gigatron could be anyone, Hellbat is wasted and Vanquish is a continuity SNAFU. Grit effectively becomes Drift!
Sound fun? Then Drift: EoS is right up your street.
I don't even dislike McCarthy at this point. His writing is such epic blandness that he just no longer registers.

Thus far I have bought every IDW trade since The Death of Optimus Prime, apart from one.
Can you guess which?
