I got a message from a friend in the US who I'd sent UK figures to before. He's after the last wave Beast Hunters deluxes (the oversized ones) and the last wave legends. I know both made it to the UK in Home Bargains, but I don't have one of those near me and purchasing off their website would just give a random figure.
Is anyone able to help point me in the direction of where I can source some, or willing to deal with this chap directly (rather than post stuff to me and then me to him) if they are even still available in the UK?
(Posting his message below:)

My Home bargains still had all the deluxes on Monday, so I can pick those up for you on Friday if you wish. They didn't have many of the Cyberverse left, so I can't guarantee any of those. I didn't realise there was a colour variation on Windrazor, but I shall see what I cam do.

If you post what you find hippo I can go and have a look in mine on Saturday to see if they have anything left. I'm not sure if the windrazor variant has been seen in this country? When I saw it mentioned it was seen somewhere in mainland Europe I think.

Hi Hippo, I think it might be a case of 'need all or nothing' as otherwise postage to the US would spiral out of control for multiple shipments, if you can find all the deluxes and legends could you pick them up, if not, I shall ask what he wants (I did send him the link to this thread). Obviously only if you are going that way, I don't want to put you out!

I didn't manage to make it down today, as I have been exhausted all day. Still suffering from a sleepless night, followed by a long day of inducting, followed by dogs waking me up when ever I fell asleep. I shall be in town tomorrow though, as I shall need some basic supplies. Home Bargains is only 10 mins walk away, plus one of the few shops I go into in town, so it is no problem.
The only figure I see a problem in getting is most likely Bluestreak, as I already have an Ace Vehicon and Divebomb sitting in my small ToyFu pile. I can just replace those with something else if need be. So I can guarantee 6 out of 8, most likely 7 but I highly doubt all 8.

Hi! I'm the 'Merkin that Blueshift has been helping out, and I just wanted to say thanks very much - especially to hippobot, who's being most kind to a stranger from overseas. If you guys can assist, I will of course pay you back promptly (or in advance if preferred), and please do let me know if I can return the favor!

Late to the party but Home Bargains around here are well stocked with most things, if needed I can have a look tomorrow and Monday.

I haven't been able to make it yet. I am actually just heading to town now, so I shall let you know what I can get. If the cyberverse aren't there, I shall wait to see if Andy has better luck finding them all before picking them up. I shall let you know in an hour or so.
Update: My local HB is all out of Cyberverse, so I can only get the deluxes now, plus the Divebomb and Ace Veihicon I already have.

So has anyone had any luck with finding these 8 figures yet?

Not yet, unless Andy's had a chance to take a look (but I know he's been stalking Monty Python)

The only ones I cant find are bluestreak and ace vehicon, I might have a spare ace vehicon as I was going to army build them till regular vehicon turned up even cheaper.
Assuming I orbippo have an ace vehicon buying the other four from the website as you suggested seems best.

I was passing HB today so had a look in. Pretty much a wasteland in my neck of the woods. A Legion Divebomb and a Deluxe Twinstrike was about it for the non-US stuff. You could have had any amount of old yellow Bumblebees or Soundwaves, but nowt else.
Does that whacking great grey ring come off the back of the super-sized Prime? I'm telling myself over and over I do not need that toy, but that and Grimwing are the only figures in the range (except for Legions & Battlemasters) I don't have. The Prime itself isn't a bad shape, but that ring is just rubbish.

The Prime itself isn't a bad shape, but that ring is just rubbish. It's taken me ages to find where I read the above question. I'm packing a few things up and have had a look at that Prime toy (my wife bought it for me thoughtfully, at Christmas). The answer is yes. It will come off but it will require a bradawl or something equally pointy. It's only one pin though and the figure certainly looks a load better without it. But it feels even cheaper without the extra heft. I'm not kidding when I say, the alt mode especially feels like it has all the production value of my two-year-old son's cheapest dumper truck. Keep him in robot mode and standing behind all his muckers and you should be fine though.

Thanks for looking at that. I'm a big fan of heft, and that figure is far too big to look right alongside the rest of the Beast Hunters figures, but I suspect as he is a hole in an otherwise almost complete collection I might well have a look in Home Bargains next time I'm on the way past, especially now I know that ring does come off...

Hi there, that place "somewhere in mainland Europe" would be Germany, mostly. I've seen at least half a dozen gray Windrazors at various local stores, and even more yellow ones (though you folks have those in the UK). The first gray Windrazor ever reported hailed from Norway, but it wasn't until he was found in Germany that the fandom took notice (in fact, I was the one bringing it to the attention of several of the larger US-based fansites). I've recently posted a comparison between both Windrazors on my blog: LINKLink approved by the wonderful Philip Ayres. Oh, and I think I might be able to pick up some gray Windrazors in case anyone still wants them.

Yes, yes I would indeed. That's the first time I've seen the grey version properly and it looks like a much nicer finish to me. I'm definitely up for one if you can find one, what do they cost in Germany?
If anyone else is interested I'm happy to take one delivery and pass them on if it means cheaper postage.

German store price is 20 Euros per Deluxe, shipping to the UK is fortunately only a fraction of that.

Wow, and we complain about UK prices compared to the US. Mind you I know from experience buying Transformers in Norway that they are astronomical there.
Well if no one else is interested I certainly am. It's very kind of you to offer. I'll personal message you.

Just a small aside, for those who have read my blog entry, I've checked more stores and written down the production date stamps from the toys' packages. Many stamps are repeated across multiple specimens, but there is some kind of system to it: "Yellow" Windrazor has date stamps 33161, 33231, 33371 and 33441. "Gray" Windrazor only has 33581 thus far (five different specimens across three different stores). I haven't figured out what the different font types for the digit "3" mean yet. One "3" consists of two round half-circles, the other "3" has a straight line on top, similar to a "7". For the lowest two date stamps, the first "3" has the straight line on top, for the other three date stamps it's the second "3". For comparison, Twinstrike has confirmed date stamps 33231, 33441, 33581 and 33681 (?). Except for the first "3" in 33441, all "3"s have two round half-circles. Confused yet?

Have a word with Adam Paulus from 16bit.com on Twitter. He knows a thing or two about decoding date stamps!

Oh, I know how to contact Adam. He hasn't linked my Windrazor blog entry yet for some reason, though (he has linked all the others).
