For some reason I cannot remember I've been under the impression that the UK release date for AoE was next week, so have just been surprised to find that it's actually Friday this week. This has therefore caused me to get a little bit excited. Just a little mind*
So where and when are you going? Don't tell me you're not because you hate Bayformers, come on, admit it, you're going to go but just pretend you aren't. I'll have none of this purist abstention rubbish. I'm no fan of the robot designs, but they're still cracking films.
I'm trying to decide Saturday afternoon and put up with noisy kids, or Saturday night and risk falling asleep half way through. It's a double edged sword. I'm not holding on any longer than that so I can go back to listening to my regular plethora of podcasts and not get spoiled.
*DINOBOTS! THERE WILL BE DINOBOTS IN MY LOCAL CINEMA THIS WEEKEND!!11!!**
**AHHHHHH!

Tickets booked for Saturday night. I have low expectations.

Could be either, me I mostly avoid movie areas prior to release.
I'll be seeing it tomorrow 11.30pm, as long as they dont sell out.
I think I saw the previous 3 (not sure about DOTM) that way and having a large crowd all making an effort to see it does in some way make it more enjoyable.

Yeah, the midnight showings are good for that - you know those that make the effort are likely strong fans. Although I was sat next to someone at the last one who got confused when I took Longtooth out and stood him on the arm of the chair between us (Vue VIP seats with big arm rests). Pffft, what kind of fan was he not to appreciate Longtooth??

I'm hoping to go and see it in the IMAX in Brum tomorrow, if I can find someone to go with.

Despite declaring 3 years ago I'd avoid a 4th film, it looks like I'll be watching tomorrow.
Attending a friends birthday outing tomorrow and this was the film voted for. I'll be along for the ride to be social.
UPDATE: An advanced preview of How To Train Your Dragon 2 cropped up at Cabot CDL so our group decided to see that instead.

I wish I could go back in time and tell my past self not to go see it.

I was hoping to go and see it on Wednesday, as it is 2 for 1, but the problem is always trying to find someone to drag along as I grudge paying ££9.15 for just myself. At least on Orange Wednesday I can get two people in for that price. But when checking viewing times I see they now have bargain Tuesdays, which is any film for £5, so I shall be off to see it tomorrow all on my lonesome.
I really envy you lucky people with your Cineworlds and £15 monthly ticket. I would go more if we had that here.
