It was most unpleasant.
In other news, due to a mishap with my new red socks in the washing machine, I now have pink underpants.

Last night, i dreamt that i was engaged in a rap battle with the son of an ex-neighbour inside an empty chip shop, whilst the Missus' dad refereed.
I must stop drinking.

Hmm. I don't tend to remember what I dream particularly much. Although I have had recurring narrative in dreams before - not usually picking up the same night, usually it is a day or so later that it picks up - a bit like some sort of serial. A very disturbing experience when it happens.
I've had an experience where I dream't I was woken up by something, woke up and realised I was dreaming and went back to sleep only to wake up again to realise that this time it was really happening. Went downstairs to get a broom handle (needed it to defend my life/property) only to wake up _again_ but for real this time.
Nested recursion. Very odd experience.
Gav - your one there sounds surreal in the extreme, what were you drinking that brought that on?
EDIT - Oh, and Nick, best of luck with the dreaded Stocktake.

...Save that for more worthy causes, like Ken's girl thingy... When did that change to 'girl thingy' ?!?! That reads well funny now! In for a night shift. Pray for a steady night. Piglet has found her singing voice. Spent a large portion of the day singing her version of Bah Bah Black Sheep (she's so politically incorrect!), which goes "Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba SHEEP!". The length of the Ba bit varies. Can go on for some time. EDIT: Hopes folkes sub-consciouses steady up a bit! Don't eat cheese too late!

Been to see Dad tonight
He'd had a fall during the day but even before then the nurses say he'd been a bit odder than he had been. They hope it's a Urine Infection but there's a chance he may have had a minor stroke during the night
He didn't look too good :-(

All manner of things crossed for you mate
On the dream front, I think my subconcious was inspired last night I had Sandy Tosvig (sic) trying to do a presentation in a large hall on the Green Lantern but kept having to stop and change rooms because bruce Willis was singing a Motown concert in the next room
