I got my ramjet and skywarp in today.
They are both really good. The decos really pop, the joints are firm. The new head is awesome. The only issues are the nitpicky minor ones inherent with the mold design itself, which are beyond FP.
And honestly, they look better with the shoulder cannons up, than Starscream and Thundercracker do (those two look wrong, to me).

I think they had nowhere else left to go except obscure BW and pre-beasts.
I mean at one time, Scrounge would be considered too obscure even for Botcon/Club.
Now Hasbro has him in a $100 box set.
I think that's one of FP's biggest issues, and it's honestly through no fault of their own. Hasbro's become so G1 obsessed that they're walking all over what once was firmly FP's wellhouse. Half of the previous botcon exclusive repaints now have brand new mass retail molds.
And neither Brian nor Hasbro really likes doing new characters or non-g1 anymore.
The botcon bubble burst.

Do you think it's genuinely that they want to homage old characters, or they looked for which moulds hadn't been reused, came to Cosmos, and thought, okay, what can that be painted to look like?
Cosmos is the only T30 Legend that hasn't been reused; they had to fit him in somewhere.

I can put an order if you want them. The price plus plunging pound is putting me off right now. Ill need to check my budget before deciding. I just wish the total for all 3 was more like $150.
Also there's the annoying fact that unless these are being made to order they could wind up on clearance before these orders are sent.
Unless them holding on to the joe club means they wont have tp clear these out.

Toaster and blackcat are the two draws I just wish they were better than pvc model things. Actually Black cat looks okay but basically any box like part from any transformers orjoe toy would likely have madefor a better toaster.

I was almost tempted just for the Ratbat, but that's a pretty pricey Ratbat. And I don't need a third version of that Megatron mold - getting the club Pretender version is bad enough.
And speaking of which, I just went to check my pre-order... and realised I'd not paid. Which is not good. Considering I pre-ordered before Brexit. Oh arse.

Aye. Makes no sense to me, but SG has an incredibly rabid and extremely vocal fan base.
I *do* think they are an extreme minority, and an extremely vocal one, at that. Making people think there are way more of them than there actually are.
But it's enough of one that even TAKARA feels they can make money catering to.
Honestly, FP should have done this years ago. Made an exclusive sticker sheet of Wreckers, SG, Elite Guard, and Star Seekers.

They're really shitty.
•Poor print quality
•Not cut to the exact specs (the four I IDed for Bluestreak are too large, the eyes for Spinister are too small)
•Glue on the back is really more of a suggestion of stickiness over actually sticky.
•NO INDICATION WHAT SO EVER OF WHAT STICKER GOES ON WHO AD WHERE. Nothing on the website. Nothing in the envelope. NOTHING.
Symbols are kinda effed up:
•There are ELEVEN Wrecker symbols, while everything else is drastically under done. Over produced, IMO.
•Three normal decepticons, two normal autobots, and two autobots with red borders. Given Reprolabels, all these are a waist of space.
•Two G2 Autobot and Decepticons
•Two Combatrons/Destrongers
•Three Maximal and Predacons (better cut than Reprolabels, honestly)
•Three SG auto/cons.
Honestly, if they were gonna overproduce any symbols, it should have been SG.
The symbol stickers may be alright, but the upgrade stickers are not.

I got my Ninja Force/Marvel G2 set today, and I'm so happy to have a Dr Biggles-Jones, and a proper Ratbat, both after all these years.
The other stuff is nifty, too.
