BW Megatron and... Armada Red Alert?

Optimus Primal.
Much as I generally loathe the "REPAINT GRIMLOCK INTO BW MEGATRON!" bandwagon, this one actually looks much better than I would have thought. But I can't understand the logic behind Primal.

The japanese TFA Tenth Aniversary art book.
In the text, without pictures is mentioned a Wreck-Gar from Arms Micron Swerve (why???), and an unnamed figure with Yokotron's deco, from voyager Brainstorm.

It's a fan book.
I am keeping an eye on ebay but no sightings yet.

Careful with that eye - you don't want to obliterate eBay with your optic blasts.

Glad that abomination of a triggerhappy never saw reality. Like that crosshairs, and that sadly may be the best nightbeat we'll ever see short of a new mold. Though I think CW Dead End would be better.

As problematic as Funpub was, It is kinda sad that they kicked off just before Titans Return. I've made no secret that I'm no fan of headmasters as a toy gimmick, but given how they're made, FP could have gone bonkers with new tooling:
• The titanmaster faceplates have a uniform size so they don't need to constantly figure out how to fit it in a limited sized area. • They don't need to design and make an entire head, so fewer materials used. • They could likely have given new faces to every titanmaster in a set or subscription, for the same cost as two or three new fullsized heads. • Titanmasters on the shelves are numberous and cheap. They shelfwarm just enough that they're relatively easy to get ahold of a few extras. FP could have ended up releasing just sets of fully painted new faceplates as cheapish exclusives in and of themselves, that you can snag extra TMs to swap out in easy DIY customs. • While I would be fine with just a fourpack of faceplates for like, $20-$25, I could also understand where FP may not be happy with just that. They could still do a multipack of full titanmaster heads, and still be fairly cheapish. • Like they could easily have done a full set of DJD heads or just faceplates for pretty cheap and it would be wildly successful. Or Beast Wars.
But realistically, this is FP and they would just blunder along in the exact hap-hazard fashion that they always have since 2005.

You were making me sad right up until your last point. Which alas would have been valid and sadly true.

Well worth getting.
G2 and translucent plastic.
What is not to like?

I've never been fond of translucent plastic for robots made of metal, but I admit that the use and implication here that this tiny way out of scale toy is a hologram communication projection is very clever.

But only some of it is translucent, which sort of defeats the idea! I dont see why they didn't make him solid colours. I mean I guess the idea is that it's so he is in scale with the GI Joe figures in the set, but 1) when did that ever stop them ever in the past and 2) they could just claim that he's uh, far away!

Aye. It'd work better if he were all translucent, or all solid. But it wouldn't be FP if a clever idea was more than half thought out. They either never take a concept to it's logical conclusion, or they beat it with a dead horse so badly it looks like Negan and Lucille got after your favorite character.
