In the world of TF fandom the artist probably thinks he could force Hasblow's hand into making it real by releasing this. Until there is an official/legal announcement I remain unconvinced. Convinced now? Now there is some actual reason to believe we might see it. |

It just hit me. After all these years, Hasbro NEVER did a Scrounge companion/"cassette"/minicon/thing for Blaster! I mean, FOC, dude! The data disk guys were friggin' WHEELS! ... Shit. And that's CW Scrounge ruined. Thanks for that. :-P (Good question though. A better one being: Why the hell have NONE OF US thought of this before..?) |

Scrounge has a proper head sculpt so that nails it for me. Hasbro Computron for me. I can't tell much of a difference between it and the UW one, it comes with an extra toy of one of my favourite guest star characters and will be cheaper. SOLD! I have wanted a Scrounge toy since 1986. 30 YEARS LATER IT HAPPENS!!!! Genuinely thrilled. Word. Although I'm still holding out for a single release. 'Cos otherwise that's a helluvan expensive Legend. Also, I think this means that between this and Optimus' Headmaster face based on page 1 of Marvel US #1, I think we've actually gone as far back as we can with homages. Surely it's only forwards from here..? |

So, this May Mayhem thing, are we guessing about what it is, or do we have a definite? "May Mayhem" was the name for last year's promotion that included the Western "online exclusive" release of Quickslinger and Brake-Neck. Hasbro decided to use this name again for releasing Groove in the same fashion this year. |

I'd almost be tempted to pay that for a second Motormaster and do a gear transplant. But it all went very very wrong when I tried to do that and I had to get Nick in to fix it! Even now my original Op looks a write off, so don't attempt unless you're confident as there's things with spring pieces needing to be under compression during assembly. But the same is true of the nonef fixed pieces. |
