All things considered, given what it is 55 pounds isn't too bad at all. It isn't a bad looking figure either.

But why is it a Grapple repaint and not Inferno?

Post by Benn on Apr 14, 2012 9:33:34 GMT
It's a mix of the two, from what I can tell. It's got Grapple's crane, but Inferno's head. The feet and hands I can't tell.

Hands are Inferno, closed fist with peg hole, oh how that change annoyed me on Grapple. Saddly the shoulders are too, which means we loose the C-Clip bars for the thinner ones found on Inferno. Basically It's the Inferno body with the crane hook arm.

Shame about the C-clip bars, would have added a level of interactivity with Stepper.
My order is in with Hydra of the AllSpark forums. Time to look around for stuff to stick on eBay (and hope the ones I have ending this weekend do me well).

It's a really good idea for an exclusive.

When I first saw this I was a bit "huh?" but it's been tickling the back of my mind all day and I'm really loving it now. The Skystalker aspect is inspired.

I love the way the Targetmaster becomes his pantograph!

He's up on BBTS for pre-orders now. A little pricey, as expected. What's the mould like? I was going to get the 3-pack with Astrotrain, Octane and Galvatron but I'm not sure how good any of them are...

Missed out on Astrotrain. Still want one
Octane or Tankor as was called before is pretty good.
Galvatron I didn't get either as so much heat on this figure and the QC issues that came with it put me off.

I was never much attracted to Classics Astrotrain, thought he looked a bit dull and that there wasn't enough variation between the two alt-modes, but it turns out that if you stick a mini-con partner with him and deco him as a double obscure homage then I'll pay through the nose...

What is the connection to Skystalker? Never owned a Classics Astrotrain meself, and this one is far too rich for my blood. Does look like a rather nice package though I must say. Karl

Ah! Thank you chaps. I can see it now.
I agree with Phil, the targetmastery bloke turning into a pantograph as well is a neat little trick.
