Oh that's cool. Not that I'll be pursuing one, but given that I own the original Dogfight, I approve of the choices here. :-)

Is Generations still published by Million? I could swear the spine logo was different last year.

HLJ say Taiyo Tosho publish it, but I think the imprint they use is called Hero X hero-x.net/

Amazon jp lists it as published by Million. Perhaps they're all the same thing?

These do nothing for me. The Club Runabout and Runamuck are spot on, while that one is almost as ill chosen as that really weird big push a few years back to have the two made from Classics Bumblebee (based exclusively on some vague similarities in decorative robot kibble) And Dogfight looks nothing like him. Wrong robot, wrong alt mode, and the colorscheme almost certainly kills any chance at the infinitely superior Tailwind, who actually has that alt mode, and a nearly identical robot.
Just like every other Million Publishing exclusive, these are easy to pass.

I am also underwhelmed, these go on the utterly passable list alongside that clear Starscream from a couple of years ago. Quite disappointed, especially considering the array of great potential repaints they showed in that promotion last year!

Apart from random bits of him being opaque.

I think it's pretty cheap of them to do Runawhatsit as an exclusive when his partner is retail. At least the Club did both of them as exclusives...
Dogfight, sadly, does not grab me at all. Tailwind I'dve been well up for.

Just checked back on that image, had forgotten it included a black Drift which we're getting something close to. Would still like to see Silverbolt and Smokescreen though -Jim

Dogfight isn't hugely different from Viper (just light blue instead of grey) and doesn't look like Dogfight in alt or bot mode. Easy pass, especially as the Funpub Runabout/muck are already more 'definitive' and the Combiner Wars ones feel a step down.

Police Sunstreaker seems like a box ticking exercise. Fallen Dave doesn't have the right bulk to be the Fallen. Still, it was a nice imaginative set, get whoever came up with that to design the Botcon toys! What was the proposed Silverbolt a repaint of, I don't recognise the mold. I assume it was a Beast Hunters one?

That Silverbolt is one of the last thibgs I'd ever want to see made. Grimwing is the worst of a set of very bad toys, and I'd be extremely angry at being forced to buy a terrible toy at an ultra premium price just to support BW.

I must admit, the Beast Hunters toys are something that happened to other people. That entire line is a mystery to me as Prime managed to make me just not care.

All there is to him is to stand him up, and fold the beast neck forward, then flip the robot head out of the top of the neck. None of it even clips into place, so rotating his shoulders pretty much ensures he falls apart into a floppy mess. His articulation is very awkward, and his wings have the absolute bare minimun. Being only slightly more that giant plastic sheets hanging off his shoulder joints. This all would be bad enough as a deluxe, but this guy's a voyager, and as a result was $25usd. The simplicity in him is just lazy, and you get no benefit from their cheaping out (unlike the giant voyager Predaking which you get the benefit of his massive size makibg him feel worth his cost)
Do yourself a favor though and track down Ripclaw, she's actually worth it. Simple, follows the "stand the cat up" transformation of all the bh preds, but she's got a few more clever steps that helps her avoid feeling lazy and stupid. She's Beast Wars good, honestly.

On the grounds that cost of 2 x Legends > cost of 1 x Deluxe this looks a decent deal compared to recent Generations book exclusives.

Yeah looked at that way I get it. I spent more on Stepper and Artfire (but I did get the generations book with at least one of them) though I managed to get Goshooter for a lot less.
But they all felt like premium product, more so Stepper and Artfire, but Goshooter too. For some reason getting the same premium feel on legends doesnt work, at least for me. Theres not the same amount of space to apply huge amounts of paint apps that bring out the moulds details for a start.
