I'm still on a regular diet of X-Men, Avengers and Legends. I'm happy with those and they're the only Marvel titles I really read, so I'm keeping with them.
I really liked the Pleasantville stuff.

Pleasanville was decent and enough to save the book from being dropped by me!
I just can't get over how boring X-Men has been. I'll leave it alone for a while and maybe tune in again after Civil War II.

Pleasantville worked for me. Think I said so when I read it digitally. End was a bit .... Odd iirc but till then. Trimmed down quite well for the UK, lost quite a few issues.
X-Men isn't setting my worl on fire but I've read worse. Vs Avengers for a start!

I'm now trying to remember the last time I read an X-Men story in Paninivision that I really liked. Possibly Wolverine & The X-Men or the Amazing X-Men story which brought Nightcrawler back.
Panini's X-Men does seem to skip the best stuff which tends to be more to the edges and not part of the central X storylines.

I liked it for a while when the original X-Men came back though it lost its way around Black Vortex and never recovered. Then the creative teams changed and for me the quality nosedived further. I persevered but just wasn't enjoying it, sadly.

Ralph is annoyed that the new Avengers issue has a sequel to a story they have not printed! A brief summary is just annoying. Surely they could have serialised RAGE OF ULTRON or even given readers a heads up to check it out???
This kind of thing fooks me off royally. Grrr.

Anybody find today's Panini - Avengers and Wolverine/Deadpool? My newsagent didn't have them :-( I saw X-men and MWOM as well as the new Deadpool this week. Is Avengers meant to be out? I did not see it though the new cover box design makes it less obvious when browsing. -Ralph

Bum. It was MWOM and X-Men. The lack of a visible date at the top threw me.

MWOM complained at a lack of letters. So I set them one on the redesign.
I think one to W&D is necessary too.

I will be doing the same to X-Men and Legends.
I note the 100 page Deadpool launch issue is squarebound. Wonder if that's just to make it look super special or whether that's the way the 100 pagers are going.

What, the fact that Deadpool is in it?

What, the fact that Deadpool is in it? As you can see above that's the crux of the arguement. Deadpool is OK in WOLVERINE and Deadpool if there's more Wolverine and Deadpool. Wolverine's name is first in the title so it's right Wolverine should have dominance. Deadpool is not OK in Wolverine & Deadpool when he has his own CE and there's Wolverine going unprinted.

agree entirely about wolverine and Deadpool, but whenever anyone writes in, they seem dead set against printing old man logan >??

It is a tad violent and bloody, but if that's the reason, just say!
