I cannot be silent any longer! There has been a great deal of love for Computron recently. And while this handsome young Transformers fan agrees Computron is a good character/figure- ABOMINUS IS SUPERIOR!!!

So the terrible truth emerges at last. Turnbull and Shockprowl... are one and the same person!! How else can we explain Shockers sudden (and illogical) doubting of Computron's superiority??
No wonder nobody has ever met Shockprowl in person... He was Andu all along.
It's like Hugman all over again.
The question now is which one of them is the original and who is the future version from 20 years hence?

Computron is better than Abominus, but the individual Terrorcons are better than the individual Technobots.

That's interesting. I like the look of Abominus slightly better than Computron, but I think the individual Technobots are better. Maybe it's because I have a love of Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers style sci-fi and have a strong fondness for crazy futuristic vehicles. Don't get me wrong- the Terrorcons' monster modes are great too, but their robot modes are pathetic even by Scramble City standards while the Technobot limbs all have unique transformations and well proportioned robot modes.
Overall, Computron for me.

It's a close one, I would put them about even on combined mode, Abominus ahead on alt-modes, Technobots with the best individual (Afterburner) and Abominus ahead on colours.
Would love to own a complete set of either really.

I really don't know. As mentioned elsewhere I've never built Abominus so I really have no idea what it's like. Computron is very good, but I have always assumed that Hungrr would make a better torso than Scatterhot. I like most of the limb bots from both sides but again dont know how the terrocons do as limbs.

I'd have to give this one to Computron, by a nose - I prefer his more unified colour scheme to Abominus more varied colours. It makes him feel a bit less gangly than I find Abominus to look. As to which set of individual members is better, I haven't really given it much thought.
