Was Marvel reset 2015?
I know this is highly unlikely to happen because with the 2015 event stuff Marvel have been putting out & most people have dismissed. One story that came out was about redoing AOA from the X-men line in 1995.
But IF Marvel did cancel everything - what would you expect the title line up to be in total for all the Marvel comics from #1 (going with the new universe from #1 with no resetting back to the old Marvel timeline at all in 10 years)
So the groups would be Spider-man, Heroes, X-men, Galaxy

It could be that Marvel are going to do a reboot. But this can caused a few problems & also help people too.
On a good note - it means you have a set number of stuff to buy to get the complete story. But that comment doesn't apply to the Ultimate Marvel comics which cross over with Marvel or the Marvel 2099 stuff that cross overed with Fan4 & Spiderman. So to read everything Marvel you just need tpb collections 1961-2015. But Marvel writers need to avoid the - lets do a story linking this new Marvel with the old because that just leans the way to the whole "this new Marvel stuff is waste of time because we are going back to the old stuff" They need to keep away from link stories. We can have events happen again but without flashing back to 60's Marvel origins. Also this means Wolverine 'll be back in his own comics.
You also have to allow the comics that are just there to tie in with the films. Not to show the stories set in the film timeline, just show the characters. Ie plug Ironman when the new Movie is out.

Line up comics -
Marvel Heroes - team The Avengers New Avengers Fantasic Four Stark Force New Warriors Cosmic Adventures (Guardians Surfer etc) Fantastic Four
solo Lady Thor Warbird Captain America Ironman Daredevil Hulk
X-men - team X-men - 2 ongoing books X-force
solo Wolverine Deadpool
Spider-man - Amazing Spider-man Spider-man Team up Marvel 2099 Spiders (Scarletspider, Venom solo stories)
We need Bendis off writing. Someone who writes 1 comic & then spreads it out over 24 issues.

Marvel are resetting everything
but it looks like it'll be - all the heroes end up on the new Earth so nothing is reset at all or writers go with bring back the original characters which then ruin the whole point of the reset. Bit like having Marvel crossover with 2099 & Ultimate comics.

Although it's still unclear what is happening at the end of Secret Wars a lot of information on what's going to be published is out there now: www.bleedingcool.com/tag/marveloctober/I'll be honest, I'm not really seeing anything that's waving at me and going BUY ME! BUY ME!

So the sum up of the Marvel comics are
Heroes - Invincible Iroman, A-Force, All new all different Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, New Avengers, Captain Marvel, Sam Wilson Captain America, The totally awesome Hulk, The mighty Thor, Scarlet witch, Ms Marvel, Hawkeye, Ant-man, The Vision,
Other heroes - Ultimates, Doctor Strange, Illuminati, Contest of champions, Silk, Daredevil, Guardians of the galaxy, Drax, Howard the duck, Nova, Star-lord, Howling commandos of SHIELD, Agents of SHIELD, Uncanny Inhumans, Karnak, Angela: asgards assassin, Squadron supreme,
X-men -
Extraordinary X-men, Uncanny X-men, All new X-men, Old man Logan, All new Wolverine, Deadpool
Spider-man - Amazing Spider-man, Carnage, Spider-woman, Spider-man, Spider-gwen, Spider-man 2099, Web warriors, Venom: spaceknight,
Only 6 X-men comics? this has got to be the least number of X-men comics ongoing that Marvel have ever had.

The least is zero, prior to 63 and between 70 something and 75 when GS 1 was published.
Ignoring limited series it rose to 2 with New Mutants, 3 with X-Factor, 4 with Excalibur and 5 with Wolverine. Jim Lee's X Men was the sixth concurrent title, xForce having replaced New Mutants. Cable followed as the seventh and Generation X as the eighth. And then I loose track.
So the last time there were this few X books was 1990/1991!

I was mainly thinking about since Marvel US started doing the better printed comics from 1994 onwards. (with all the computer colouring etc) But I expect to see some more title added. Just redaing baout if Disney made good buy of Marvel for $4 bill when they should have paid $9 bill on the money they have made from it just on 2 films.

Death's Head, Starbrand and Hercules sounds fun.

I am genuinely surprised to see Starbrand there. I kind of didn't really feel there was much more to be done with Starbrand after the first year or so of his New Universe book. Although as I recall didn't Hickman cobble something together from leftover Newuniversal parts in his Avengers run. I seem to remember reading something in that vein in a trade, but like a lot of Hickman's run it didn't make a great deal of sense to me.
Hercules and Death's Head could be good, depending on how they are executed, but not anything to inspire me to start picking up Marvel stuff again I don't think.

Yup, Hickman used Starbrand, and Nightmask. That looks like the Hickman Starbrand too. Except that I think he might be dead now....

Hopefully they will not use the head redesign from S.W.O.R.D.

Spidey - new title but I don't expect this to be set in the current Marvel universe when they can go with a animated take. But a new entry level book - but the price is the main reason these get cancelled. $2.99, why not price it $1.99. I don't expect to see a 99C comic line again.

You have a fair point in that comics were sometimes launched at a lower price to entice the reader or with regular price but a 'bumper sized' first issue. I often find it pretty mad that now some series launch with a higher priced issue ie #1 at $5 with following issues at $4, for example.

With Amazing Spiderman #1 it was about 5 stories in it so does warrent the higher price. I also picked up Hulk #600 with was oversized but I only paid 50p for it at comic marts. But this is about cover price on release. but for younger readers it should be a lower price point because core fans don't buy the adventures comics. But Panini Uk should be using this comic for Ultimate Spiderman Magazine in the UK (£2.99/£3.99 price point depending on free gift - isn't that about $5). But these kids comics shouldn't have the same price has the adult comics (not adult as in adult - but the ones that adults buy)

Hmmm.
Marvel feels very much a distant second behind DC at the moment, not saying they are in dollar share but they feel creatively in a bit of a slump.
Feel an editorial cleanout is in order.
