Not covering what your worst TF toy is or ones with GPS.
But ones like ALT Shockblast - where the toy is good but plastic stress makes the hood go white & pop off. Or maybe a toy with mix of die-cast & plastic but the plastic doesn't suit the toy. If making the toy top heavy?

Revenge of the Fallen Scalpel. A wonderful, very, very silly idea for a Transformer, completely ruined by the plastic used in his legs. The plastic's so fragile that most of the ball joints for the legs were already broken coming out of the box...

I recall RiD StormJet's cockpit being incredibly fragile. It shattered into several pieces when I took it out of the packaging.

As did mine.
OK, the elephant in the room for this subject is GPS...

I don't recall many transformers that had gold elephants as their alt modes...

There was a gold warthog in Beast Wars Neo. Any surviving pieces now explode on contact with human fingers.

True. I recall videos of it imploding doing the rounds in the early days of youtube.

Some Mini-con did suffer - some design where good but those cars with the small slide together that are held together with just a small bumb & they fall apart easy. But the design is good with the cars being small but when you reconnect everything that falls off the toy does look good.

Cybertron Repugnus is a GPS victim. Mine broke. Didn't even know it was prone because the GPS plastic is painted black. I worry for the Beast Hunters, as they all have color marbled blastic as part of their feature, and marbled plastic is what causes GPS. My BH arcee snapped in a place trying to get the tabs closed. BH Megatron's thumb snapped off

Going back to the mini-cons (mainly street speed team)they must have been put together by hand because they are too fiddly for a maching to do it.

I would have expect some to be machine done with maybe a bit manual - ie the ones that need screwing together. But with most being just ball joint slot together - but with the minicons in question not being ball joint, they do use that slide plastic.
By machine done that is using anything electric to put the toy together - even if using power screw driver by hand.

Nope by hand, possibly electric screwdrivers but used by hand not machine.
I imagine the effort and expense of rebuilding and reprogramming a production line every few weeks or months would be prohibitive.
