That was the same for TF v Joe last year as I recall, with issue zero coming out and then a month or two gap before 1.

#0 was a fun read - new character Flamefeather. We only see him in robot mode so no car, but being tricked thinking a ride is real. Also TF/Gijoe back up strip that is a fun read too.

Pin up then newspaper report over 2 pages. But it'll take you a bit to read this with so much going on. Feels like reading about 5 pages.

Here's one thing. Bumblebee is the same Bumblebee from Transformers Prime (along with Optimus). IDW did the TFP Dinobots comics which feature Grimlock set in the same univserse. But TFP Grimlock isn't RID Grimlock - so we've got 2 Grimlock's walking around & Bumblebee has never said anything about that (with only meeting Grimlock in the comics that the cartoon writers don't follow not even the dreadful scott who writers the comics & cartoon)

I don't think the TV people give a fig about the comics but I've always thought calling the dinosaur Grimlock was a mistake. Although the films are apparently a different continuity now (I thought originally they were in the aligned too) Bumblebee and Prime occupy similar roles and have matching personalities. AoE Grimlock and the RiD one are totally different characters with different back stories, which is only confusing if AoE brought you to RiD.
CJ will probably take offence at the idea, but given the allegiance switch RiD Grimlock does it'd have been better if they just called him Dinobot. Obviously marketing wouldn't allow that.

Seen that #5 previews shows the story takes place after the end of series 1 with recapping it. But stinkblade shows up in the comic, but at least its written by someone that can write & not scott. that's UK #6 in 4 months time.
