I forced myself to sit through the entire series about a decade ago. Id seen a lot of season 1before, very little of two and I think only video released episodes of season 3.
Season 2 was a chore, but having already sat through all of season 1 in a short period, I putit down in part to exhaustion. But 3 was really a struggle. I do agree with matt theres character development and stuff which is good, but it was wrappedaround bad stories and presented in terrible animation.
it probably is time for a rewatch.

Was never able to do that with any Transformers episodes. Large chunks of Star Trek II, yes.(Complete with my really bad Ricardo Montalban accent. "Ey'll agree to your terms, eef. In addition you turn ofer to me all da-ta and mat Irials concerning the project known as... Gen-esys.")

Don't forget...
BOT is the episode where Swindle sold his teammates for scrap.
And that, in and of itself is hands down one of the best things ever to happen in Transformers lore, ever.
I rag on how aweful the cartoon was, and it truly is horrible. But that... that was glorious.

My main issue with B.O.T is that it was teh last episode of Season 2. Many a bots last hurrah before the movie. Swindle selling his friends for scrap was indeed glorious.

Ultimate Doom was watched last night. Piglet loved it. Squidy just like the "Doggy" (Ravage). What a fantastic episode! It's got everything in it! Including a bit of Prowl action! I remember seeing bits of it, mainly part 3, when I was a kid, but not seen it since. Awesome stuff. Sparkplug's rescue was pure drama!

I do enjoy The Ultimate Doom,fond memories of watching it on tv back in the day.
To cleanse ourselves after B.O.T. we watched War Dawn, a couple if nice moments of animation with some good shading and impressive colour choices.

Piglet cries every time at the end of the first Skyfire episode, when he becomes buried in ice, again... Even though she's seen Fire on the Mountain (or whatever it's called) and knows he's alright really.

Series one was a HUGE hit with the childrens. They can't get enough of it! We have to have Transformers free days or they'd never stop watching it! And they're girls!!! I'm so proud.
So. Series two. Is it worth getting?
