You know, I never realised just how many variants there were of the original Terrorsaur toy. I might make them my con-mission this year, since I currently own none and always really liked it.

I mentioned in last week's top 5 toys tease that Hound would make a good Beast Wars toy. Indeed he's an easy repaint of K-9: swap the Blue & white for green and make the beast body black all over. Which other Beast Wars toys would it be possible to turn into earlier Transformers characters with just a repaint and possibly a new head? |

If we all posted on Hasbro's facebook page demanding a BW CW set woudl it work? This could run along the Botcon set which also happens to be BW era. Ravage repainted Tigatron etc

Waspinator: in yellow as Bumblebee with blue wings & in black as Bugly with green wings Basic Megatron: Skullcruncher & Krok Basic Optimus:Mindwipe Wolfang: Weirdwolf Ultra Megatron: Snapdragon Ultra Optimus: Apeface Cheetor: Yellow & Black as Sunstreaker, Black and Red as Sideswipe, White & Red as Red Alert Terrorsaur: Swoop (effectively been done twice already!) Airazor: Divebomb (I need a VS pack of these two in my life) Lioconvoy, Cheetor, Rhinox & Bonecrusher as the other four Predacons Rhinox as Ironhide (an old favourite) |

So it struck me that the Predacons really need some love.
We have updates of every original cast Maximal. BWX Primal, Universe Dinobot and Cheetor, and Generations Rhinox and Rattrap.
Contrary, the only Predacon updates we have are BWX Megatron, Generations Waspinator, and TF Legends Blackarachnia. And she's not even original cast.
I'm really kind of surprised Terrorsaur hasn't popped up somewhere. He's bright and colorful, a "dinosaur," and was a pretty big deal in the first season, being Starscream's counterpart.

Nice. I was disappointed that the AoE Slug repaint didn't have the ribs painted. Since that was really the only reason I wanted that toy. ;-)
