Picked up the Wii version. It's the same but different.

Wii one has rumble when you use star power, which is a bit annoying. And the bad sounds come out of the wiimote speaker when you miss a note, which is nice.

Song selection starts off badly, but gets better. Seems a bit harder than 2, but it might be because I'm out of practice. Most annoying addition is the Guitar Battles which have no place in the career mode. I wouldn't mind a separate battle mode, but they shouldn't stick it in the career.

Didn't try co-op career as we only had the one guitar, but it has different songs for the encores than the single player.

I'm pretty sure this'll be under the Christmas tree for me this year. Looking forward to it.

I'm getting the Wii version for Christmas. Never played a GH game before so I'm looking forward to it.

earlier ones had better songs, but there are some corkers on this one, and less covers. Waiting to see what songs they'll put up for download...

I got this for Christmas and have had a blast. Completed co-op career on Easy at New Year which was loadsa fun. Jim have you gone online with it yet? We should swap Friend Codes (puttup) and, you know, rock out.

I also got GH3 for Christmas. Currently toiling through Hard mode at the moment. Arrgh!

I haven't yet. Dunno if I will, I don't really like playing games online, it's not as much fun as having other people in the room playing. I blame you for moving away John.
