I definitely think that Tracks has a mouth. Maybe it is a changeable face thing again but the helmet looks more enclosed than Bumblebee's for doing that.

I don't like it. It looks weird and funky to me, in the same way the prowl and sideswipe mos look weird and funky.
Am not seeing how this is an improvement over rts tracks, or Alternators Tracks.

My ability to judge mps from photos has proven poor. Almost all my negative opinions based on photos turn out to be non issues in hand, wheeljack is the only one that didnt turn out to be much better than expected. Having said that I am finding Tracks completely uninteresting, I cant find anything wrong or odd about it, im just not interested.
I might be getting burnt out on autobot cars.

Granted my only experience with MP cars is G2 Sideswipe.
I like it for what it is, but personally hate the mold and it's design, finding it to be a terrible G1 Sideswipe. Too boxy and boring and ininteresting. He was never that boxy. (I have the original mold in the form of g2 sideswipe)
Bumblebee looks frightening, especially his head, and i'll have that in the form of g2, also.
They all just look weirdly proportioned, with awful sculpts, and drastically overpriced for what you get.
Tracks feels similarly weirdly proportioned. Makes me sad because he's one of the few I'd get on the merits of who he is.

I basically agree with your description of all the MP cars and to some degree have questioned buying all of them, but in hand all but WJ have impressed me (and its not that I dont like like him, its just exactly what I expected). Sideswipes chest is too big, even more so for me as my default Sideswipe is the actionmaster. Bumblebee is all over the place, Prowl has legs that should be too thin amongst other things. I see all that. Yet when they combined the accurate car mode with G1 toy and cartoon models of the robot modes the designers are creating hybrids that for me at least capture the spirit of G1 even if they are making significant changes in some ways. Also it helps that I've found all of them really fun toys. Odds are Tracks will grow on me, but if it had to be another Autobot car would have been far more excited by Ironhide and Ratchet. Am not seeing how this is an improvement over rts tracks, or Alternators Tracks. It doesnt have to be an improvement, but it is more G1 accurate. |

Boo! knew that panel on his chest would be bright yellow in robot mode because it's clearly reversible like Bumblebee's. No matter. He looks fine to me. Really nice. I think this new colour image is slightly squashed going by the car mode, so he may appear slightly thinner than he actually is, but I'm not complaining at all. Definite addition to the ranks. Can't wait. Maybe I'd have gone for toy accurate black on the forearms and thighs over the cartoon grey just to break it up a bit, but Tracks rocks!

Tracks looks pretty good actually. But I'll pass. He's not on the list. I know he's popular in Japan, but there are lots of other characters that should come before him on the pecking order.

I think it may be that this thread dedicated to Tracks is predominantly not about tracks, and is kinda all over the place?
Which would strike me as odd since that's typical for all dedicated threads.
But yeah. Needs 100% more women hating, and 50% more flamebaiting and trolling and member bashing, and 1000% more general stupidity to equate to a TFW thread.
