I have a reprolabels licence plate sticker going spare if anyone is interested. I put one on the original tracks, as well as replacing the flames on the hood. That's a kind offer, I'm sure someone will snap that up. And welcome to the forum!

It's not an easy thing to demonstrate this, but I'll try to point it out. If you look at Tracks from above: There is a hollow behind his head because of the way he transforms. If you sit and look at it you start to notice it, but it's easily ignored. It isn't that pretty because it's the inside of the car bodywork and it's held by that arm you can see in the picture behind his head. It's all fixed in place with tabs though. The problem people have is that the back of his head pokes into this space with nothing visible beneath it: But to actually see that you have to look really hard through the gap I've pointed the camera through. The beige patch under the back of his head is my desk behind him. But the fact it's so hard to photograph points out it isn't very obvious unless you go looking for it. However if you just put him in a display and don't actually look for these things: You'd never see them.

Hmmm. Well I had a good play with one for quite a while and I just couldn't see any gaps at all. I even felt it avoided the hollow problem that many modern TF toys had! Now it has been pointed out I can see how folk who mainly get toys to put on display could be bothered but I don't bother with displays. I just get toys to play with so I can live with it. Different strokes for different folks.
If I can find the spare pennies I think I shall get one.

Having just opened my MP Tracks I am happy to back up Pinwig! I have no idea why people are complaining so much about the floating head thing. Unless their display was reliant on Tracks bending forwards, which I don't want to think about.

I found the transformation a bit of a hassle the first few times, and a lot of parts have to be positioned at points other than straight or 90* to fit back together in car mode. He's pretty good once you're there, though. getting the legs to separate when going from car-robot is stressful as the clip is very tight but not that big. I don't rate him as highly as the other cars, but that might be because I haven't fiddled with them for a while and don't remember their issues so well. I'm still happy to have one, although I suspect that wishing he had a toy-style head with a black face, yellow eyes and a white faceplate puts me in single figures across the fandom. Something to look out for on Shapeways, I guess.

I have no idea why people are complaining so much about the floating head thing. -Jim I like to play about and pose mine quite a bit, and there's something about mine where it doesn't look to me like his head is being held up straight already. It could just be me or my version of him though... That said, I am seriously considering Roadrage, so it's not a deal breaker yet!

WELL THIS DOESN'T HELP AT ALL!!!!
*hair goes ftom curly to straight*
There clearly is a head-area-empty-space problem.
Pinwig, Doc' and Jim don't mind the head problem...
But Urzu and CRUCIALLY the Mysterious O'Hagan have issues with it!

We don't mind the head problem because there *isn't* a head problem.
I'd buy him, seriously. Quick, before Stomp comes out and absorbs every spare penny.

Picked up Tracks and Roadrage last week. They were both very far from my planned list of purchases, but Captured Prey dropped the price down to $45 a piece and they found one last Tracks at the end of Saturday. I couldnt say no.
Have to admit to mixed feelings. The floating heads dont bother me at all. The fact that the head doesnt lock in to anything is slightly annoying as the head tends to easily sink back in to the chest with only a little nudging.
No my problem is the legs, in particular Tracks, they just look sort of awkward. Not terrible, but not quite right.
The blue plastic is beautiful though.
Roadrages lack of accessories disapoints me too. Yes she gets a new larger gun, but at the expense of random human repaint, the small gun tracks comes with and the display stand. And the red plastic isnt as nice as Tracks blue.
They cost me like £32 each so I can't complain too much, but I dont like either as much as the Prowl, Sideswipe or Wheeljack moulds. Im not sure I would have been happy paying full price for them.
