Which is the best pilot episode for any TF series aired in the UK - all but Rescuebots is available on VHS/DVD format in the UK. So I'm sure that most of us should have seen one to vote for.
Also note : Cybertron one this is a mix up from episode 1,2 parts & was not shown when the series started in UK because they aired it later on.But it should be the first one so just counting it has the pilot episode.

My vote goes for Animated. Beast Machines was really good, setting things up for whats to come really well, as well as being nice and exciting. A complete left turn from the statis quo from what we had come to expect in beast wars. Armada was really good at setting up something entirely new, and getting all relevent backstory that we needed to know. Energon and Cybertron were rather ho hum. Beast Wars... Does not hold up. It's hard to get through the pilot to get to the good stuff. G1... Was among the better sunbow stuff. But even sunbow at it's best is worse than most anything else at it's worst. Only Prime is lower, due to the crime of being the blandest, most boring and homogenized snot hasbro ever sneezed up. I don't honestly remember RiD, but I believe it was more or less just another day in the park, for that show. So, better than most, not as good as the rest. Never seen Rescue Bots pilot.
But Animated gets my vote, because it's characters were so vivid and vibrant. Acting was the only series on par with Beast Era. The plot was deep, but maintained a wonderful levity. It paid respect to the past, but absolutely did not tie itself down to it.

MTME/Arrival From Cybertron
Sets up the core concept of the Transformers in 60 mins and tells a decent story all in one go and you can see they had one eye on it not getting anything more than than that so told a complete story, something I don't think any other pilot did as well.

I added Rescuebots on just incase anyone had seen it repeated on freeview POP+ but with this being the only one not available to buy on VHS/DVD, so it does slightly effect the vote - but some people haven't seen the pilots for the other series. But it is going to be close with Animated in there

Bumblebee is the best Pilot as witnessed in the original animated feature film.

Just short review of each pilot -
1. Introduction to all the characters for the first time & covering many concepts. Ending with the UN giving Autobots energy to refuel Cybertron (plot point never touched on again) 2. The far future where a team of non-warriors are forced to track down a rogue group of off shoot Decepticons back into an unknown time zone. 3. Returning home to find everything turned on its head. 4. Introduction to a team hidden on Earth when Megatron suddenly makes his move - this really feels IDW. 5. Mini-cons become active on Earth bring the war to Earth for the first time 6 & 7 I can't remember what happened even watched them a few times. 8. A group of bots in same style from Beast Wars end up dealing with Megatron on Earth following finding the Matrix. 9. Autobots arriving on Earth & Megatron shows up finding dark energon etc. 10. Group of 4 bots left on Earth to protect a small island.
