I quite like the name of Alpha Bravo! Could have been worse. Could have been Autobot Slingshot!

Autobot Slingshot's just fine. What would have been awful is if they were still on their "blast" kick. I could see them renaming him Slingblast, back during the UT.

They could all have had 'blast' in their names!
Silverblast, Skyblast, Airblast, Fireblast and Slingblast!
And the combined mode would be SUPERBLAST!!!

It does feel less like a given name and more like a nickname that he insists other 'bots use, which does fit quite well with his cards mention that he is a Special Operations type. Karl

Something tells me one of those already exists. Wasn't it a Binaltech* release?

Broadblast was indeed one of the "asterisk" line. Skids repaint if I recall correctly.

G2 being SDCC makes me absolutely ill. I almost think I'd rather it NOT exist at all.

What could be cool- Scavenger, Bonecrusher, Mixmaster, Scrapper at voyager size as limbs. Longhaul at leader as torso, has the thighs and shoulders Hook/Hightower at deluxe, slots in on top of longhaul G1 style as the head. Would make a cool size aesthetic in individual modes

Shame the SDCC one isn't orange A $150 box set repainted as an SDCC exclusive... $450 maybe? Caramba. Still, if this info is right... Devastator is going to be a ridiculous size. I'd have preferred him to be a similar size to the other combiners, but hey, there's Green Giant for that. This sounds like a biiig, chunky behemoth that kids will have great fun with next Christmas. Good times. The reissues sound good too. Trypticon? About time! -Nick

Long Haul - they should have him transform into a mining dump truck not a normal small dump truck. The mining one is massive if you see one in real life - Optimus would just get level with the cab section door in robot mode. Also we need to sort out Bonecrusher & Scrapper who are the 2 that you can never tell apart.

So... Devastator's going to be Titan class. Which is nice. But limited articulation and complexity? I guess that makes sense given the size of the thing - it'll need to be robust. And as long as it's better than DotM Supreme Devastator (in that, say, the smaller robots *actually* transformer) I won't complain. Judgement shall, of course be saved until we can see pictures. Or hold the beautiful thing in hand.
That said, this is the Transformers fandom, and it's late on a Tuesday evening, so I'll also be the first person to say (on these boards anyway) that it sucks and it's retrospectively ruined my childhood.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh yeah.
My only complaint so far is that clearly he comes packaged in combined gestalt mode. Which is understandable, but still annoys me - taking a giant robot out of a box and taking it apart is nowhere near as exciting as taking several smaller robots out of the box and building a giant robot. But still, it looks promising...
