Had an hour to myself on Saturday to mend a wardrobe door in Blaise's room when I randomly fainted. I don't know why or what for. As I got up again I was overcome with an overbearing migraine like pain. I let George know what had happened and she got me to call NHS Direct.
After going through all the steps with the operator, she called out an ambulance to the house. A couple of medics eventually made their way over and I was checked over and tested for heartrate, blood pressure etc. I wasn't up for anything, but before help arrived I made myself get all my DIY stuff out of childrens reach. I was using an electric drill when the lights went out.
Docs appointment later in the week to show them my results from the visit. Fortunately I did not have to go into hospital, but I was told to ring again if I fainted again. Sunday was a groggy day. Today not so bad.

Sounds very odd, Hero. I's deffinately think you need to follow it up with your GP asap. Did the ambulance crew offer any opinions?

Thankyou for the lovely responses.
I went to the docs and they shared the opinion in the ambulance crew notes that I may have gotten up too quickly.
I do have to go into hospital tomorrow to have an x-ray on my knee. I twisted it ice skating last December and it has been nagging me for a while.
