Just awaiting a lot of cardbacked envelopes to arrive and then the comic will be available to purchase. In the meantime - a rather spartan website can be found at www.arkcomics.co.ukAndy

BLATANT SHILLING STARTS
I should also point out, that as it's printed on proper newsprint, it touches and smells like comics used to.
It's not just a comic, it's an experience.
BLATANT SHILLING ENDS.

Shipped today after work. Now, in the process of submitting it to Comixology, before finishing off Stuart's Book, some AA things before cracking on with some of the tales from that in a more longer substantial form! Andy

Busy times at work at the moment, so it was nice last night to recline before bed with a glass of vino and A.R.K. Issue 333!
Hats off chaps, this is jolly good stuff! Obviously being outside the loop I'm not well up on how prolific this creative team is, as to whether this is a first endeavour in print or that you produce something for each Glasgow Comic-con, but this is a packed issue with plenty of variety, great art from Andy and some clever and witty writing from Ralph and Karl. I have utmost respect for creative types who make time to pursue their arts in the busy world grown-ups have to put up with. This looks like a serious time investment, so applause to all. Particularly for the added 80s aroma from the paper. Very nostalgic.
Now then, where are the trades for Volume 1?
Rich.

Hah!
Glad you enjoyed the comic. You are not the first to mention the aroma of the comic. The smelling of said copies was the first thing I did when the box was opened. A lot of people also sniffed the comic at the event itself.
This was our maiden effort at Glasgow (the first of many) and more than a few of the strips will be seen in greater length in the weeks and months to come. I just have the pesky matter of Stuart's book and a few AA projects to finish before I turn my attention to...well that would be telling.
I quite like the idea of going back to Volume 1 at some point though and doing the equivalent of a Classic Comics, Best of 2000ad type affair.

Thanks indeed for the kind words good sir. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. (I'm another one who gave the paper a good sniff when I first saw it, and ran it between my fingers to test the texture. And I can also confirm Andy's observation that those strips are not necessarily one-offs - some of them will very much be followed up on in due course (in one case there is already considerably more written than has been seen to date).
Glad to hear that the issue reached you safely, and that it met with thy approval.

Just had the email that it's been accepted for Comixology's Submit programme.
Will naturally keep people updated when it drops!
Just had to fill out a tax form!

Good to see it online... but haven't they got the issue number wrong? I'll check tomorrow, brain frazzled after the great Last Light colour correction-athon. I have a sneaking suspicion that the culprit is me when I made the initial submission though. Andy

It says 332 on the list, but 333 on the cover itself.

Entirely my fault it would seem.
Looking at the submission it states 332.
