Thought I would secure some space to plug a comic anthology coming in July from A.R.K. This project is the hardwork of myself, Ralph, Karl (hence the A.R.K). It's something we've talked about for far too long so this is the year we are doing it. The comic make it's debut in print at the Glasgow Comic Con in July with it going on general sale afterwards in physical and digital versions afterwards, so if any of you are inclined to pick up a copy. Anyhoo have a wee gander at a couple of work in progress pages from one of the rales.. Andy

Excellent stuff. I have nothing but admiration for people who make time to utilise and enjoy their creativity.

Ah ha. If only I could shift my writer's block. This is what happens when you haven't written for a few years. Will deadline pressure get Burns off his ass? Stay tuned.

A third script is currently taking shape on my computer at the moment, three pages written and the other two being assembled in my head for writing up over the next couple of days. You may be pleased to know that this one features less use of the nine-panel grid than I have previously been known for... I may be making up for it in terms of the numbers of different outfits that you may be drawing characters in over the course of a few pages...

Gymshoe - also serves as the cover for A.R.K. It's been coloured but you can't see that yet, at the end of the week perhaps when everything else is done...

Art edits on the penultimate script completed. Just two strips to letter, three logos to sort and a back cover to colour and of course the all important contents/editorial/fake letters pages to do.
Should all be done by the weekend...

A.R.K. Volume 2 Issue 333 - on sale 4 July 2015.
The anthology comic that you never knew existed is back with its' latest issue coinciding with Glasgow Comic Con.
This weeks' cover star is James Jamesheugh - or Gymshoe to anyone with half a brain. He makes his debut this issue in the first of a Playground Noir thriller - "How To Spell Trouble".
300 Grams comes to it's conclusion and last issue saw Allerdyce in a perilous situation, can he avenge his fallen friend?
The Chronicles of Roland - Fortress of Night Part Four - sees Roland reach the Knight's Hospitallers Fortress at last, but will he get the welcome he expects from his longtime friend Sir Telfer?
Platinum Angel Project - Four on The Floor Part One - new story arc for the Angels, as we get a little glimpse into what goes on between the shows and the combat zones.
The Red Menace - fresh from being blindsided by unknown assailants last issue, The Red Menace is up against an unlikely threat with it's roots stretching back to the greatest threat this Nation faced in the Twentieth Century.
Robot George is there as always to answer your letters and the back cover reveals the replacement series for 300 Grams, we've been running teasers for the last few issues now, but she is nearly here.
24 pages £1.99 - if you can't find it in your local Newsagents, find another one they obviously don't deserve your business!
