It might be alright, the low episode count means there is less chance of it being too ponderous. However, I did recently watch the 2nd X-Files movie for the first time.
That was pretty dull.

Hmmm. There's a nostalgic thrill to seeing these faces again, but it's missing something; that bit which basically told us the plot at the start of the trailer doesn't feel right - if there's something like that it needs to turn out to be misinformation or should only be hinted at. Just coming straight out with it doesn't feel very X-Files-y, especially in the trailer ahead of time. Maybe that's just the difference between 20 years ago and today though.

Currently enjoying an X-Files rewatch thanks to More-i-4-player. It holds up so well! Mulder and Scilly are just so watchable.
