I could chuck it on a credit card but that would be daft.
Even for me.

Got a Clench off eBay recently. Anyone know what the black clip over the rear of the pink surface is for? Should there be something there? And are the handles on right? Mine go out to the sides, then back but I've seen pictures elsewhere that go back then out to the sides

The black clip should have a wheel in it.
My handles are the same as yours too.
Will ping a pic on Facebook messenger.

I've been looking at some of the 1993 European toys on TFWiki, such as Axelerators and Skyscorchers. According to the website, a bunch of these were released with G2 logos even though the range was still under original branding in Europe at the time, being replaced with G2 packaging in 1994. This doesn't seem right to me. I haven't had these toys out to look at in a long time, but I'm sure I have some of them without G2 logos.
There are several possibilities. TFWiki is wrong. I'm wrong. I'm confusing the logos with the recolours and variants done for US/G2 releases. I'm confusing these toys with those few that had no logos at all at the time.
Can someone shed some light, please?

I believe they were sold on 93 cards with the new logos. Said logos are on the 93 catalogue and a brief search hasn't been able to find me any pictures, let alone carded pictures, with these with g1 logos "The memory cheats" I suspect

I might not have been quite clear. I wasn't asking about packaging. I was asking about logos printed on the toys. And not necessarily original logos printed on the toys, just not G2. It's a bit hard to tell from the size of these pictures, but it looks like the Axelerators and Skyscorchers have no logos at all, that's to say not G2 logos which is what TFWiki says they had.

Okay, pictures such as this one show that I must be misremembering: tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/e/ea/G2-toy_Turbofire.jpgHowever, the yellow Constructions were released in Europe without logos in 1992 and later with tampo G2 logos, so I wasn't entirely imagining it! I think there may be others that fall into this category.

The Tampo G2 Constructicons were the US Constructicons weren't they? so not the euro versions with no combining parts

The 1992 range had the G1 logos and the 1993 toys suddenly all had these strange new Autobot and Decepticon logos.
It wasn't until later in the year, we found they were also used in the US's Generation 2 line.
So I'm sure the Euro line had them first (or released first).
The only thing was a few toys from 1993 didn't have any actual insignia stickers on the toys - mainly the Obliterators, Trakkons and Clench & Pyro.
Edit. Ah - you are talking tampos. Will check my toys when home.

It was so disheartening seeing the lovely 1992/1993 packaging being replaced on these toys with the cheap seaside toy Euro G2 style.

I've just heard the sad news that Andy Couzins has passed away. He was such a nice guy -and very humble. Such a shame.
