Should we have all the Wreckers released?
questions - yes, no
We do far have Springer, Sandstorm, Whirl, Roadbuster
But we would need -
Broadside, Impactor, Flame (which could be repainted later has Hotrod with a new head & 3 pipes on arms but with cannon removed - unless you used the Impactor mode) Emirate Xaaron, Fortress Maximus (small), Ironfist, Overlord, Pyro, RacknRuin, Rotorstorm (reuse Whirl), Topspin, Twintwist,

You missed Guzzle.
I'd love a new Broadside, Topspin and Twin Twist, and would kill for a proper Impactor. Classic line-up should be priority. But Xaaron, Maximus, and Flame are not and have never been Wreckers.
And just to cover the bases, neither were Blaster, Blurr or Drift. Jury is out on Kup and Perceptor, but I prefer to think they were along in an advisory capacity.

We had CV Guzzle a few years back which is a nice toy. That's why I added the other ones to fill up the ranks & also to have some foes - or just the one in Flame. You need someone for them to fight other than Overlord

The Wreckers could fight anyone, part of their charm is that they get the...unusual...operations. In fact, as a Special Operations unit their primary role would likely be the no-name second- and third-echelon troops who would be pulling security duty around comm-hubs, logistics-bases and the like...so Knock-offs, third-party toys and some of the later Robo-machines stuff would work as opponents. :-)
I'm an ultra-traditionalist when it comes to my Wreckers roster, which I am thinking of putting together as close to "original flavour":- Impactor - been done by Hasbro [Haven't owned due to not being that good a toy. May cave at some point in the future) Roadbuster - been done by twice Hasbro [will own both versions quite soon] Whirl - been done twice by Hasbro [own both] Top Spin - done twice by Hasbro [used to own the original. Probably end up getting it again](*) Twin Twist - done twice by Hasbro [used to own the original. Probably end up getting it again](*) Rack and Ruin - not done by Hasbro [have a pair of Custom repainted Mini-cons which can join at the shoulders which are my Rack and Ruin]
I'd be fairly happy with the original line-up, so from my point of view the only one/s that hasn't had a toy at all is Rack and Ruin. Impactor could do with a new toy though - Galaxy Force Exigeyser with a new head and a stabby spearhead thing to slot into his arm hard-point would do the job nicely. They've done two of the three new recruits from the end of T:2006 so we could do with a new Broadside to round those out, but that would be me happy as far as Wreckers go. I'm not really worried about having the Botcon Wreckers, or the IDW Wreckers particularly as compared to the original team from the Marvel Comic. I just see the other line-ups as retreads of the same idea in various Transformers spin-offs/alternate continuities so they don't really inspire the same affection. My love for the Wreckers is unashamedly based in nostalgia, I haven't apologised for that and I don't plan on starting now. :-)

* - these two are also available in the form of the only hinky "Third-Party" toys I have ever seriously been tempted by. Which probably indicates I have an unhealthy level of nostalgia for the Jumpstarters.

Warbot Assaulter by Fansproject makes a good stand in for Broadside at the Voyager size; he goes well with T30 Springer being about half an inch taller and much heftier. Rack and Ruin is an odd one, I never felt he had that much detail put into drawing him in the comic so he'd need a bit of work on how to realise him.
Beyond what we have I agree with Legios. I'd definitely like to see a proper Voyager size Impactor. That could be one heck of a figure. Much as I love the FoC Style (and I really do), I don't think those renditions of Top Spin and Twin Twist would work among the Generations figures. I'm fine with them being Deluxes, but the style is wrong.

No, no the Wreckers should not be released! They should be left to rot in Garrus-9 where they belong, the sicko psychos!!!
*votes yes*
My brain isn't listening to me today.

I should also add to this that although Magnus isn't a Wrecker I do include him in 'the set' under the Target 2006 clause. So as I've said elsewhere, I am looking forward to replacing my Mebsuta version with the leader. Reckon they're about the same size.

I should also add to this that although Magnus isn't a Wrecker I'd say he was on the evidence of UK82 and the expectation he would be part of Volcano

Rotorstorm is an interesting one: the mould is just shy of decent articulation. With just a little tweaking you could get a really well articulated toy out of the original.

I should also add to this that although Magnus isn't a Wrecker I'd say he was on the evidence of UK82 and the expectation he would be part of Volcano Hmm... I would call him an 'associate' member. I got the impression that Impactor was the Wreckers' boss and Magnus was somewhere between them and Autobot high command. Magnus was introduced in the UK comic as an 'ultimate weapon' type very much in the leader vein, so he would be attached to Volcano because it would work far better with than without him. But I'd never figured him as being a regular crew member - because that would effectively demote Impactor wouldn't it? Magnus surely would outrank him.

I always tend to think of the Wreckers as those we saw in Marvel so really all I 'need' is a Rack N Ruin. I'm quick happy with the FOC Wreckers set. While the moulds are not the best the new heads, decos and extra weapons do a heck of a lot to improve them as toys and they form a nice fun cohesive set. I also am very amused by Impactor having Xarron up his butt almost literally. Sure, I would like a higher quality Impactor but at least there is one and it will do me nicely for now. -Ralph
