Most toys since 2001 RID line have been repainted (or somewhere repaints of pre 2001 toys)
But what is the best ever toy which have never been repainted (includes TFCC not repaints or shows - so Metroplex would not be included with the not really repainted but we had in a different release - I think it just had silver stickers on it)

I couldn't include Beast wars with so many of them being repainted in Japan & we dont know most of the names for them. So it is easy to do it from RID onwards.
CV Guzzle wasn't repainted.

Energon Wing Saber is the most major one I can think of. Some might say Energon Dinobot.
Generations Rhinox
Generations Brainstorm
slightly before when you're thinking but it's a crime that the remoulds Sharp Edge and Killerpunch have never been repainted.

Armada Laserbeak! I think it's the only Armada toy never to be repainted and also a fun wee toy.

I'm sure they did something with Laserbeak for Movie one, I could of course be totally imagining that.

There's a Real Gear bird and a video camera but try aren't the same toy as each other let alone Armada Laserbeak.
Armada Laserbeak has a nice little homage in the orange bird Autobot Datadisc for FOC.

Could they repaint Rhinox has Rhino? Trying to work out what you mean! If it's "what could they repaint Rhinox as?" well..... There's three Rhinox repaint options from the various versions of his original and Transmetal selves used in Fox Kids and Armada. Headstrong's colours are an option. For years I've said I'd loved to see a black skinned rhino with red robot parts as Beast Wars Ironhide.

Headstrong would be ok - but the root mode wouldn't look right. Ironhide BW would be better I was thinking about that. But you'd expect Hasbro to repaint him.

Does the cost of making Metroplex out weight Hasbro repainting the toy? We know Hasbro like to get repaints out of a toy to cover the design costs. But with the big M we just got that different sticker or whatever it was or was it a different box & the toy was the same? But you'd image Hasbro to do the Metroplex from the IDW phase 2 annuals where we had green purple blue. & you can't say someone at Hasbro doesn't think that flooding the market like that would help when you see all the Bumblebee repaints.

The difference is that Bumblebee is seen as a "Core" Character. Even with his diminished role in the Live-Action movies as they went on he was seen as a fundamental part of the marketing push for those, and the constant presence of the new version of Bumblebee in animated series since TF:A suggests that he is seen as one of the basic building blocks. And as stores want each wave to be a new offering as much as possible then redecoing the "core" merchandise helps in terms of keeping it in successive assortments ( important when large parts of the toy industry these days expects to be selling to a completely new set of consumers every two to three years).
Metroplex isn't really a "core" character, and he was a) expensive and b) kind of marketed a a tie-in to the video-game in some respects, so I can imagine that his projected sales life was kind of seen as tied to the life of the game - so they may have been figuring on a six month window.
But I'm just speculating.

Upsized Beast Hunters Voyager Op.
Repaint that changing the opaque neon green to grey and I'd buy it.
(you can leave the clear green parts alone)
