That would make more sense given Alliance is propped up well out of the water. Filming inside you wouldn't know that. Pretty cramped and battered though, not very Hollywood!
All this UK filming is so odd. The locations that have been mentioned are all over the place and so random.

There was a follow up article on the pizza thing actually; the dominos in question thought the call was a prank and didn't make them, so when the runner turned up with 700 quid in hand they went into overdrive.

Teasers for trailers annoy me. Still, the BBC wins a special award for the time they teased a teaser which was a hashtag for the trailer (Doctor Who 50th anniversary ep).

So this seems more like a full trailer than a teaser. And so (spoiler only to give everyone a chance to see it) post-apocaliptic survivalist setting brought about by the TFs? We haven't actually seen that before. I'm actually mildly interested for once. |

But I guess we see stuff out of order - how in the past trailer we have stuff at the end of the film shown first in the trailer - ie TF4 the ships making it look like an invasion.

Apocalyptic disaster scene, dramatic human rescue, sorrowful look between human and what looks like a smashed up Bumblebee (poor B never gets an easy time), things colliding in slow motion with ominous music playing and everything getting blown to bits every 10 seconds. It's unmistakably Bay. I hope im wrong but it's giving me a DOTM vibe. The idea behind it seems intriguing. Apart from the 'Transformers have crossed paths with earth/humans before' set up that they've done for the last 3 movies. At least this one seems to expand on the idea and is maybe explaining why. |

Andy The first thing that I thought of when i noticed that was Shattered Glass Optimus, maybe because my SG Prime was delivered yesterday. It looks like a bit of this will address why they keep coming to Earth so I'm wondering if there will be a time travel or alternate dimension angle? But Quintessons makes more sense and is a great shout. The plot is already there in Dark Awakenings and in this trailer we see a supposedly dead Optimus floating through space then an alive Optimus on earth who seems to be evil. Also probably ties in with the speech Lockdown gave Optimus in AoE about 'creators'. |

If Bay keeps to the last Movies then that scene at the start of Prime dead in space is right at the end of the Movie to follow into the Bumblebee one.

I saw the knights and for a moment marveled at how cool a proper expanded film of Man of Iron would be. Then I got sad.
But, if there's some old dudes buried on Earth from times past and re-awoken in the present, that would be cool. There are possibilities here. Obviously trailers always make films look good, but... that looked good.

You know, that was actually a good trailer. We all know the movie itself is going to be a Bay suckfest because that guy is very much "if you have seen one, you have seen all his movies" type of director, but.. But.. I think it may not be totally awful story wise. Maybe.
