You've convinced me. I was going to Trade-wait on this (as I do with everything now, on cost/time-saving principle) but I'm going to go back to the singles for just a wee while longer, just for you guys.

I have to say a genuine heartfelt thanks to those of you willing to give us a spin in the single-issue format. It's a big ask, based on current economic restrictions, and especially considering a lot of people have felt that recent directions in the IDWniverse haven't been for them. We could do with the support for sure, but I don't believe in blind loyalty. So if after #1, the book isn't for you, or you'd fell better waiting on the trade, then could you have done any less? (That's today's Furmanism used up...) You guys seem to be up for giving us a kick-ass launch, and that will show those in the know that there's a market and hunger for a niche mini-series to a cult property.

I have hired Tarquin, a 24-stone cage wrestler with pierced knuckles and an Arabic-language tattoo on his chin which says "Virgin Breaker", who will be going into my local comic shops and knocking over Ben 10 displays and demanding where the fuck can he order Last Stand of the Wreckers.

I am REALLY excited for this comic. I can't believe that this is their first proper collaboration in 15 years since I saw their separate work in CG2. The nods to Marvel UK + the Japanese characters + Euro-only toys is right up my street. Shall definitely be ordering this on payday + getting the trade as well.
TMUK loyalty aside, if it's half as good as their Prowl story in AHM Coda, it'll be THE definitive TF comic ever! (Excluding the possibility of a Eugenesis graphic novel).

The latest issue of TF ongoing suggests it has been pushed back to January.

Not pushed back, it has always been a January release, hence Nick and James' pride at having the first Transformers comic with a #1 on the cover of the new decade.

I'm almost finished pencilling one of my written gigs now... (Sample piece of Script: 'FA-TA-TA-TOW!') and that's not even one of the ones hinted at in the interview! There'll be at least two titles with contributions from me in the next 7-8 months.
And Wreckers 2...eh. Would anyone be interested at this point?
